Marni Eau De Parfum Spray 2.2 oz / 65 Ml

This is a sophisticated beautiful fragrance. Completely different from the common flowery boring fragrances you find everywhere. Bergamot, musk... Truly italian, fresh and modern. I'm very happy with my Marni!!

Nothing new about this perfume being amazing but being able to purchase and get it overnight is!Thanx amazon!

Marni hits the "sweet spot" for woody orientals: Good rose body without being granny-ish. A solid wood presence without miles of sillage to annoy coworkers.A core of cedar, unusual in a women's perfume, keeps the rose notes fresh. It also keeps the patchouli at a PG-13 rating. There's still a bit of raunchy edge to it, but nothing that's going to scream "hippie flake" to the boss. In fact, there's a distinct preppy-ness to this scent that is very nice to see in a note combo that always seems to be marketed as "alternative." To me, Marni just begs to be worn with Toms, skinny ankle slacks, a boyfriend cardigan, and some funky red-rimmed hipster glasses. Ideally there should also be a trenta iced coffee and a volume of Plath nearby (jk).There are some drawbacks, however. I'm disappointed with the staying power. It tends to fade down to a creamy, rosy "skin scent" after about 4 hours, becoming almost undetectable by anyone, unless you're making out with them. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, being an oriental and priced at over 100 dollars, I expect more staying power! So, minus a star for that.Marni loses another star - and this is just a personal gripe - for the intensity of the cedar/patchouli. While works *ok*, it's just a *wee* bit too masculine for me. I can't help feeling like the makers are trying to force androgyny onto the perfume, trying to double their customer base, and thus, double their profits. That seems cheap to me. It also hinders the perfume's "art" if that makes any sense. Marni is otherwise so well blended, that I really think it could've been one of the true classics if it hadn't be squelched by trying to make unisex.
