My family and I have been switching over from plastic to glass to help out our earth. Even though the lids are plastic, they are so much stronger than the average storage plastic. And I love the venting in the lids, which help the dishes be "airtight". Put them right into the dishwasher, before using them, and they came out really clean. The glass has gone into the microwave after being in the refrigerator without any problems. I DO NOT put the plastic lids in the microwave, I want my lids to stay strong for many years to come. Make it a great day!

You can't use for sausage and some vegetables, they will mixed if accidentally turned to the corner or upside down. Very Heavy. But can nicely use for mixed vegetables or fruits.
