Love these stair gates, we own three in our home. We have narrower staircases than come houses and these do not take up nearly as much space as other stair gates. They are easy to install with their guide stencils provided. Sturdy and safe! Only downside is they can be quite creaky/noisy when opening and closing so not great for getting around once little ones have gone to bed, however if you unhook them and then lock it in place you can avoid the noise if you want to try not to disturb a sleeping little one.

Great and easy to install. Even has extenders to work with skirting boards. There is a video however the paper instructions were straight forward enough to use.This is to keep the 15 month old inside but in hot weather I can have the doors open for some air snd it's great. She can still see outside and the gate is strong enough so if she pushes it she doesn't fall. Fits my large patio doors too.

What's not to like? The product came with very clear instructions and some very handy printed-to-scale stencils to make sure you're putting the screws in the right place.Looks great as a separator between our kitchen and conservatory to keep the dog from wandering out into the conservatory and causing havoc in there! Very easy to use and feels sturdy. Would highly recommend.Update: After about a week's use the top and bottom seem to be at different lengths/strength now so it's not stretched properly flat. Our puppy if he tries really hard can still get underneath. We are getting a replacement and hoping that it will be better.

Needed a gate to cover the length of 170cm and something that's in budget, this was on offer compared to others at £50/+, this was still alittle high priced but considering the offer and after using well worth it! As it stops my 1 year old from climbing up the stairs also a satisfying safe guard to avoid any accidents from up or down the stairs. And the fact it's a retractable gate saves space and awkward gate openings and covers both stair openings in one go!Was very easy to install, was afraid that as this is a mesh gate that my toddler might be able to go under it but I was wrong! Once in place and locked there's no way of getting through!Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought this to go across a 150cm gap in our open plan lounge/dining room to keep my two young kids contained.It was installed as per the instructions, and It lasted half an hour before the kids managed to break it. A retractable fabric room divider might work for gaps of less than a meter (ie a normal doorway) but anything longer than this is useless, there is just too much give in the fabric and it sags under its own weight mid span. The screws and fittings are also rather flimsy. It’s a pain to roll the fabric away as well, it all ended up bunched up at one end or the other and would not roll up evenly. On the plus side, it was easy enough to install, and easy to remove again when the kids broke it!Don’t bother, buy a solid gate/room divider would be my advice.

Bought this to keep the dog from going upstairs. Worked really well and was easy to install.Not as sturdy as a solid child gate and it need to be locked off to stop it rolling out any further. I'd also be a little concerned that a child could get under it by pushing against the fabric and lifting it as our dog was able to get his head underneath it.So I'd recommend it to keep dogs out but not children as the fabric can be pushed up. Incidentally the dog now sleeps by the bed......

Great parts great service

I was unsure if this would work when I brought this stair gate.I already have one at the bottom of my stairs to stop our dog getting up there, but needed another one to stop our dog getting to the mail because she seems to like chewing up. Lol.I needed a stair gate that would stretch out more than 140cm.I found this gate that goes to 180cm and thought this is fab. But all the pictures online showed it going across doorways and don’t show it being fixed to the face of a wall, But I thought I would buy it and if it didn’t work then I would return it.Upon opening it I thought wow there is loads of bits, but I soon found out that there are spares, basically a whole fixing kit as spare.It took about 20 mins to fix the whole thing and was so easy with the templates supplied.Since putting this up, our dog can no longer chew up our mail.Once locked she can’t push under it or lift it either.Everyone in the household is able to use it with ease.
