Although the information was interesting and the explanations were helpful, the poor proofreading & editing detracted from the overall book. Also, the cover portrait was weird with ladylike hands on the guy, bright red ladylike lips, and carefully-drawn abundant hair growing out of the ears.

- Author casts aspersions on originality of slokas, but provides no proof, mere speculation. Some translation feels like troll comments instead of erudite translator's comments. Repeated questioning of slokas makes buying book feel like money wasted on fake slokas.- Author has a big bias against Brahmins, brings into question if translation has been done honestly.- Author makes fun of Chanakya, Prime Minister of India's most successful empire in last 2000 years, whenever he doesn't agree with Shloka - appearing to be a social justice warrior instead of being an honest translator.Whole book feels like Author did not enjoy it and only did it to point out why he is better than Chanakya.
