This tool worked fine but it does not have enough range for my F-250 calipers. I had to cut a 1/4" hardboard sheet to place in front of the tool so it would compress the pistons far enough. If they made the bolt 1/4" longer it would be fine. It should be just fine for cars.

Great tool, but for what it is used for it should be built a little heavier more durable but still a good tool

I work as a mechanic and deal with all kinds of cars and I do hundreds of brake jobs and by far this has been the worst caliper compression tool I've ever used first caliper I tried using these on bent the paddles so much that the extension paddles don't fit anymore on top of that they constantly get stuck and jammed up and they don't even fit into all calipers especially on the rears would not recommend buying at all

Little tricky to get used to how it works but all in all good value for the money would buy again in a heartbeat

I love it it very easy to use and not complicated to ues

The ratcheting function was a bit stuff and didn't want to turn freely, but with a quick spray of lube the unit functioned amazingly well. Makes brake jobs much easier.

the ratchet is to stiff..... thats where needle nose vice grips come in order them if you order this tool
