Compatible Pitney Bowes SL-870-1 Red Ink Cartridge (2 Pack) Inkjet Printer Ink for SendPro Mailstation CSD1 Postage Meter Machine - PB Replacement Printer Cartridge w/OEM Compatibility

We regularly buy 3rd-party ink & toner for all of our office equipment, and have never had a problem with using off-brand cartridges. However, our other preferred office supply vendor (one we've been using since pre-Internet days) didn't carry ink cartridges for this new-model Pitney Bowes postage meter, which left us with a choice of ordering directly from Pitney Bowes or coming to Amazon. These compatible ink cartridges for the PB SendPro Mailstation were less expensive than the PB-branded ones, especially in this 2-pack, and we know from experience that it's far better to have a spare ink cartridge on hand when one runs low, rather than have one's work come to a halt because the spare hasn't been delivered yet. The print quality appears to be comparable to that of the OEM cartridge which came with the machine when purchased, and we don't seem to have run across any scolding error messages for installing a 3rd-party ink cartridge, either. Plus, saving money on the postage meter ink cartridges reserves more in the office budget for actual postage!

I regularly purchase these for our office and I have always been happy with the quality. I had ordered the 2 pack ink cartridges earlier this year. Recently we ran out ink, however the replacement I had put into our machine was not working. I reached out to Roar Postal Supplies and they promptly followed up with me to resolve the issue. I sent the faulty cartridge back to them free of charge and received a replacement a few days later. Amazing customer service for purchasing through Amazon!!

I had a great experience with this company. I ordered a postage ink cartridge that had a damaged chip. When I called the customer service#, they promptly sent a replacement with a return postage label for the damaged cartridge. Very quick turn around and the new cartridge worked great. I will definitely use them again!

I ordered this ink when I got my new Mailstation. I didn't need it until 3 month later. When I installed it, it didn't work and now I'm out $75. Horrible. Don't buy this! I might have wasted $75 but at least I can save someone else from wasting their money.

This product seems to be equal in quality to the OEM product. I have used one of each in my new PB SendPro mailstation. However, PB product states you get 400 - 880 impressions per cartridge. We got about 550 impressions from each cartridge. Do the math... that is 12 cents per stamp impression, plus the cost of the postage (currently $.57) to mail a letter. PB promotes using their mailstation "saves" you three cents for a standard 1st class letter... but you are paying postage plus an add'l 12 cents per piece just to run it through their postage meter. And that doesn't include the monthly lease fee. I am going back to using stamps from USPS.

I love the price for this ink. It gets the job done and you don’t pay twice the price that you would directly with Pitney.
