SilverFire 304 Stainless Steel Scout Ultimate Kit

I bought this stove a couple of years ago before a Canadian extended canoe trip. Mine has the old style pot holders that fold. I was not expecting much but was happy to be surprised The little dude is awesome . WE used it for 90% of our cooking needs with a msr teapot it boiled all our water . It rained all that week and the next but was easy to start even with damp wood. No, I'm not giving away my msr dragonfly but this stove works for most backpacking food prep and is a joy to fool with when riding out a rain filled trip. Since then I taken this stove to the mountains ,the desert and the coasts. Every where it goes when someone see it work they just have to have one ;I've probably caused at least a dozen sale just boiling tea on it. .It is a worthy addition to your pack. You will notice that there are a bunch of Chinese clones on Amazon they don't have the ash catcher on the bottom to prevent unintended fires . Besides that I don't like the fact that they STOLE someone elses product ,While Hiding behind their countries exemptions from copy right laws , they under price their products to the detriment of us all. Buy the real thing it will last for decades
