Essential Oil Diffuser by Smiley Daisy - Bundle with Juju Aroma Oil Gift Set - Great for The Holidays

I am pretty happy with this purchase. I read some great reviews and blog posts about this diffuser as opposed to other popular brands, which lead to my decision to purchase this particular one.I had some difficulty turning it on at first, but it was nothing that simply unplugging the cord and plugging it back in couldn't fix! I have had absolutely no problems turning it on since that first time.The light is actually pretty bright! I thought it would be a nice little addition to my salt lamp night light, but it's too bright for a night light. But that's okay, because the light can be turned off. I love the changing colors, and that you can set it to one color if you wish.I've read some complaints about the noise. The diffuser does make noise, but it's definitely NOT noisy. It's probably not even as loud as a fish tank. It's the only noise in my bedroom at night (I don't sleep with the tv or anything) and it's not too loud to sleep with.As with all diffusers, they are more effective in smaller spaces. I mostly use this in my bedroom at night with the door closed. Works great! When the door is open, the smell isn't quite as strong, but still noticeable.It says to use 5 drops of oil. I find myself having to use at least 7. 5 just isn't strong enough, or maybe I just like my scents more potent.All in all, I am very happy with this diffuser. The price is great, the product is great, and I even received an email from the company where they told me they hoped I enjoyed the diffuser! I love purchasing from companies that take the time to reach out to their customers like that!

They changed the design. This use to have a locking lid that had a little gray dot that aligned with the one on the base. This cover does not lock to the base. If you aren't careful when you pick up the unit the base drops out and spills water and oil everywhere. I like the other one that we have. I am always recommending the Smiley Daisy diffusers to everyone instead of the expensive ones from the oil companies. But I don't know if I can continue to recommend these products anymore. I'm really disappointed.

Item arrived quickly, as described, well-protected, competitive price. You can use the lights on a rotating color pattern, choose a single color, or turn them off. My favorite feature is the intermittent stream...it produces mist for 30 seconds, then stops for 30 seconds. This allows the mist to last all through the night. The unit is easy to clean. I have been using it in the bedroom every night since I received it. The unit produces a good amount of mist without being overpowering, and doesn't stain the furniture or leave an oily residue on nearby items. I'm thinking I need to buy another for my office so I don't have to move it around all the time! (I have to say I first purchased ANOTHER BRAND of diffuser; I returned it after 4 uses. First the lights quit, then the switch, then it started leaking. The Smiley Daisey has been a great performer to date--I'll update this review if anything changes!)UPDATE 3/9/16: I just purchased a second one of this model diffuser. I bought it so I could have the same diffuser in my vacation home bedroom because I love it so much. One of the mist choices this model has is a 30-seconds on, 30-seconds off intermittent mist, which allows it to last through the night. It can also be set to continuous mist if desired. The mist is effective, and the light can rotate colors or be set to a specific color, or turned completely off. When I ordered the diffuser, I also received an email from the seller showing the features, operation, cleaning, and FAQs. It gave contact information in case there were other questions or issues. A few days after I received the diffuser, I received a follow-up email from the seller, again showing the features, operation, cleaning, and FAQs. The email again gave contact information in case there were other questions or issues with the diffuser, and checking to ensure the product was satisfactory. I really appreciated the follow-up. The first diffuser of this model I purchased was in March of 2015 and it is used nightly at bedtime, still running beautifully after a year. The diffuser is quiet, with a slight, pleasant gurgling or whispering sound as it emits mist.

Purchased July 26, 2016. As of today, Sept 11, 2017, the motor is officially dead. I used it regularly but did not "overuse" if there is such a thing. I cleaned it regularly. I unplugged it when I wasn't using it for consecutive days. I did enjoy it using a variety of essential oils. Things just don't last anymore. And I don't expect to spend $20 a year on diffusers.

I really like this diffuser. I purchased this as a lightening deal, and bought it mainly on the low price. I just wanted a second diffuser for the house, but I've ended up taking it to the office. It's so lightweight, and I now think I might also take this on vacation to freshen up the hotel room. Since it was so inexpensive, I really didn't expect much, but I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality. It is sturdier than I expected and has a nice vapor output. It doesn't have an intermittent function, but I think that's understandable for the price. I haven't played much with the colors, but that's a nice option to have. I have had several co-workers ask me about it and want to know where I got it. The seller is also very concerned about service, which I appreciate. They sent follow-up emails to be sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I didn't have any issues, but it's nice to know the seller will be responsive if you do. I would absolutely recommend this model. I like it so much, I'm thinking of buying another to have for other rooms in the home!

I have been using my diffuser every day since I received it and here's what I think:Cons:* Its a bit smaller than I expected (6inches in height)* Can't be used with fragrance oils. unfortunately I bought quite a few for this arriving, but in the instructions it state that you can't use these types of oils in the machine. Although there is no mention of fragrance oils in the Amazon description, it would have been helpful if this had been stated before I purchased it. I have now bought an oil burner.* Very weak scent! The essential oils only smell if your nose is within 20cm from the machine and after a while they all start to smell of soap. I have tried several different brands of essential oils (all of which are incredibly strongly scented) and have had the same experience with all of them. If your expecting this to fill your room with lovely smells, think again! It just won't. I find the other reviews hard to believe in relation to this. If you want a lovely smelling room, buy a standard oil burner and fragrance oils as ive done.Pros:* Easy to use* The steam function is surprisingly quiet and provides a great stream of steam. Really makes the air within the room fresher and feel cleaner.* It has a fabulous selection of colours to use with the light function. A feature I really love.Overall I am pleased with this, just a little disappointed about not being able to use the fragrance oils and the smell out of the machine being so weak unless your near to it. This is still a great device otherwise, and at a good price.

I love this Oil Diffuser, nice aspect, changes colours by pressing one of the 2 buttons, also can be used in one favourite colour again by a button pressing, and the oil diffusing can be controlled by the 2 buttons. It is very charming and relaxing just looking at its colours not mentioning the fragrance of the oil's essence.

Good especially for the price. A lot of these are so expensive! Instructions are good and we like to change the color when the other person is out of the room.

This is a little gem at a great price. The colour features are very soothing and the product is extremely easy to use. The flex is really long which is great for when socket space is an issue. Great buy
