Unbelievable product... way better than I ever imagined
I was looking to buy my first drone for a bit of fun leisure flying it and also having a go at doing some video and camers work from a different view point to complement my photography hobby. I researched the DJI Mini 2 out on the web and having read up and watched loads of reports and YouTube videos on the Mavic mini 2 drone and I decided it looked to be perfect for everything I was looking for.Next day delivery of the Mini 2 and I was totally blown away by this device. It turned out that this little drone is way beyond anything I could have wished for in both its quality, features and capabilities and how porfessional it is. it basically flys itself and its just so easy to operate and unlike what I imagined a toy drone would be like, this Mini 2 has all the bult in safety features to make flying it so easy. its really unbelievable in what it can do, it really is so clever and basically fail safe to fly and the 4K video and camera photos from it are amazing. I'm so pleased I paid the extra for the Fly More Kit though as its well worth it for the extra batteries, charging unit extra props and case etc.I'm so pleased with this purchase and will be having many, many hours of fun with this product. As with any responsible drone pilot, you do have to get the nessessary requirements with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to fly legally and get an official Operators ID. This is easily done online for a £9 registration fee and only takes a couple of minutes on line to register your device and get your Operator ID mailed straight back to you so that you can flying legally. On the CAA website there is also optional free online test to get a Flyers ID and although this is not needed for a sub 250g drone, its basically a 40 question online test in which you need to get at least 30 correct to pass. Everything you need to pass is there to read before or even at the same time as doing the test, you just have to select the correct choice answer, its certainly not hard and the answers are basically common sense. it is well worth the effort as it also lets you better understand 'The Drone Code' and be able to fly resonsibly so I am now fully registered to fly it through the CAA and cant wait to take to the skys :)It was available a little cheaper elsewhere on line but I have always trusted Amazon and had there been any issues its reasuring to have Amazon support there to resolve any concerns without any hassle.Thank you Amazon.

Unbelievable drone for the money!
I was really unsure which drone to but because there's so much choice out there. After a lot of research & joining a couple of drone groups on facebook to ask questions, I decided to buy the DJI mini 2se with the flymore combo. I wasn't disappointed, what a fantastic drone! So easy to fly & the camera & video quality is really good. It's very stable in mild winds too. It's definitely worth getting the flymore combo too, 3 batteries instead of 2 means plenty of flying time, there's a multi charger to charge all 3 batteries together, spare prop blades & a nice bag to keep everything safe. It has some great camera features, such as drone, rocket, circle, etc for the video & panoramic, sphere, etc for the camera. Watch a few videos on YouTube about it first & you'll see what it can do.... It's fantastic! Make sure that you get your operators id before flying it, it's just over £10 for the year, I did the flyer id at the same time, didn't need to but it's free & lasts for 5yrs. Also, check out the dji insurances on their website, just incase! I would definitely recommend the drone, 100%.

A Cracking UAV
I have just completed my UK A2 Certificate of Competence, and was looking for anotherf drone to supplement my Mavic Air 1. As C2 category craft are some way off market (if they are ever produced), there was no benefit in buying something that would be so restrictive to fly after 2022, so I looked at the Mini 2. This functions under the A1 category, so can be used for flights over "Uninvolved People", making flght planning a cinch. I took the plunge and bought the Fly More Combo. The first thing to say is that the DJI Go app that is needed for the Mini 2 does not work with all phones; certainly not with my Motorola E4+. There was no way to check compatibility ahead of trying to load the app (my MA1 uses DJI Go 4 which works with the E4+). I was about to return the drone to Amazon, as it was not fit for my purpose; paying £550 for a drone which cannot be flown without buying a new phone is hardly attractive. However, my phone was out of contract, so I looked at a new one, settling on the OnePlus Nord 100, which Three assured me would work. I therefore got the new phone, and kept the drone. A raelly good choice. The Mini 2 is fantastic, particularly with the Fly More Combo; it all comes in a small case that holds everything; much better thought-out than the MA1. At under 250 grammes, it is not only very portable, but gets into the vital A1 category, so isn't, and won't be, limited to the "Legacy" category in 2023. In particular, I can fly it legally from my back garden and over the village (after having cleared it with the control tower of my local RAF airfield; I'm just within the FRZ).For the size, it flies brilliantly (so long as you do not try to fly when the wind is gusting over 22 knots, Force 5 - quite a breeze). It responds very well to controls, and the video quality is excellent, particularly in Cine mode.I'm looking forward to taking it on my travels at home and abroad when lockdown finishes; it is so easy to pack in with my camera equipment. My recommendation? If you're in the UK, and want a drone that won't become obsolete in 18 months get a Mini 2; you won't be disappointed!
