Cod Skin Twists 2 oz. - Dog Treats, Chews and Snacks (Single Ingredient, Sustainably Sourced, North Atlantic Cod Dog and Cat Treats) Perfect for Training

These are BY FAR my dog's favorite treat!! We put these treats on auto delivery for six bags every two weeks and we're often running out before the two week delivery. The only issue with these treats is they are often out of stock and the auto deliveries are delayed or just cancelled all together. We will buy these forever as long as they can keep them in stock - that's the biggest frustration because our dog loves them so much. I do wish they carried a larger portion bag. The bags are only two ounces - which is like 12-15 twists usually. We have to buy six bags at a time to last two weeks.We've tried other fish skins treats, and our dogs FAR prefers these. Our dog is a very finnicky eater and we try to limit the ingredients in his food and treats so we love these treats because it's a single ingredient. Compared to other fish treats, these twists don't give off a terrible fishy odor - another plus. They are fish, so there is a fish smell, but some other fish treats (we've tried them all), give off a pungent fish smell that stinks up the room. The twists are small enough that they don't get gummy (like rawhides) like other bigger fish skin treats we've tried.I saw some reviews that said it's a good for chewers. Our 70lb shepherd eats these in under two minutes. If you're considering these treats for that reason, they don't "last" like rawhides or bully sticks. That's no issue for us, we give them as treats in our house, not something to occupy his time.If my shepherd were to rate these treats, he'd give them a 1000/10 - that's how much he prefers these to all other fish treats and every other non fish treat he has (mostly beef, duck or chicken jerky).

Our dogs love these chew sticks. Given a choice between a rawhide-type stick and these, they always go for the salmon skin. They smell a little fishy, but that's part of the appeal for the dog and the odor doesn't linger once the stick is eaten. You might find a few dry fish scales left over wherever your dog chews this up. I would prefer a USA-sourced product, but so far so good. They don't last long - about 3 minutes for my 19-pound Shih Tzu mix, but she loves every second. It takes the Chi-Pin about twice that time. They're firm enough to give them a bit of a chew, but still somewhat soft. They won't break any teeth. These will be a regular purchase.

Super popular with our pups, and we only wish the cod chewies lasted a little longer.

Dog is not a big chewer and this is gone in 2-5 min. He seems to really like it but it just doesn’t last

How many bags of this have I bought? Like 33 in the last 7 months? Is my dog causing this to be unavailable when I need to buy these because he’s addicted? My pup loves these cod twists. LOVES them. His eyes get big and they laser focus when I bring the bag out. I think it’s the combination of the chewing and the crunch and the taste that he loves so much. I like it because they are just the right portion size and shape for a smaller size dog.

I love your products however, a little bit of a miss on your description. I purchased these for my small dog with the intention of cutting in half to stretch our budget. The packages we received had 5" chews. Too small to cut in half.

I use to get these and they were rolled much smaller…I give them for teeth cleaning. The same weight as before just rolled much bigger and not as tight and only about half the number of sticks…too bad 😪
