So my 83 year old mother thinks that dresses that go past her knee aren't modest enough to wear outside or in the presence of company. She wanted a long skirt that she could wear out. My mom usually wears a size 10 in petite short. She is 110 pounds and is about 5' tall. I was thinking that the dress might be too long for her but it sits right at her ankles. The dress that I got her in medium fits her perfectly. She loves the ruffled sleeves and the stretch the fabric has. She loved the black one I ordered her, I ended up buying her a second one in Navy. The dress is very classy looking, has a decent amount of stretch and the fabric isn't itchy - it's pretty soft. Hopefully over time the stitching will stay and the fabric won't unravel. So far, I would recommend to everyone.

I love this dress and it is so flattering and elegant. I purchased a size M in navy blue, which is great with my blonde hair. The only downside is that the neck hole is extremely small. If you have a big head like I do, getting the dress on and off is challenging, but I can deal with that to find such a flattering dress on my short-waisted pear shaped figure.

Wore it to a furneral. Lots of compliments. Felt nice and cool despite it being black and I was outside in hot weather. I am 5'4 and 135lbs. Average build. Fit nicely. A little loose waist down. Was hoping it to be fitted more around the waist before it flaired out. At the arms a little tight. I dont have a big head but it you do, the opening is a little tight. Overall a great dress.

So, I have this same dress from Shein in blue, and it’s exactly the same dress… but my Shein small is pretty much the same size as the large I just ordered. I sized up due to being pregnant and didn’t want a tight fit. I guess I should have sized up more. The dress is still very modest and appealing, I just expected a looser fit and am a little disappointed. Though, not disappointed enough to return or exchange at this point.

I wear either an 8 or a 10. I looked at the size guide and went with a large. This was a great choice because there is no zipper or buttons- it's a pullover. The dress is quite comfortable with a stretchy bodice. The larger size allowed for comfortable sleeves, not tight at all.

I bought the dress in black to wear to a very sad funeral. Another reviewer mentioned that the dress was giving "widowed pilgrim," so I went ahead and purchased it since that is kind of the look I was going for. I'm 5'1, 140 lbs, and bought the Large which fit nicely. The dress is feminine and elegant, and I am thinking of ordering another in a prettier color.
