Ketoseb Shampoo +PS, 16 oz

We have a Bernese Mountain Dog who is currently 3 years old. About 2 years ago, someone recommended this shampoo for some rashes that he seemed to get. He had white flaky patches that I could scratch off his skin and took quite a bit of his fur too. He was starting to get a thin spot above his tail area on his back. He would pick at it and it would get worse. We went to the vet several times and she prescribed different antibiotics, etc to no avail. I tried this shampoo and voila! It worked! His skin cleared up and now is in tip top shape. We bathe with this shampoo every 2 weeks to a month depending on how dirty he gets. The medicine in it really cleared up his skin condition and now I recommend this shampoo to every dog owner. We go through 2-3 bottles in a year and our dog is 120 pounds and has a long, thick, double coat (look up Bernese Mountain Dogs). If your dog is having skin afflictions, I definitely think this is worth a try. I would use it bi-weekly for at least 2 months so that it has time to work. We’ve been using the product for 2 years and swear by it!

I use this shampoo for my shar pei. It works great for skin conditions and proactively addresses skin conditions. Smells good and his fur feels really clean. The only issue i have is that the last order, the shampoo seems to be more fluid as it is dispensed and used on my dog. The previous bottles were more reddish in color and thicker in consistency. New formula?

Our dog got staph this summer because of the hot, dry weather. Our vet first gave 21 days of antibiotics, which cleared it up but it came back a few weeks later. She then recommended daily bathing with Ketoseb (no meds), which we did for a couple of weeks. Then we bathed her a couple of times a week. The staph completely cleared up. Of course the weather cooled down too, but the Ketoseb really helped.

Excellent shampoo that helps immunocompromised dogs.My dog has a thyroid condition that results in small sores appearing on her skin, this helps keep them in check and promotes healing. It has a pleasant scent, cleans well, and truly helps control/heal skin issues. This was recommended by my Vet and I purchased it from them at first but found it cheaper on amazon.

I have a double coat GSD with chronic pyoderma. This shampoo works fantastically and FAST. And it smells great. A surgical tech friend of mine says it's the same ingredient (and strength) of the scrub the surgeons use to scrub in so I guess that's why it kills germs so well! It doesn't dry her out at all like most other shampoos, and she has to have baths several times per week. My vet recommended it but the office sells it for $10 more. Even if I don't use Amazon prime for free shipping the cost here is much better considering how often I have to purchase the shampoo.This vendor delivered quickly! My package arrived on my doorstep two days earlier than expected. Which was perfect considering I'd just run out of my miracle shampoo! Thanks for helping me keep hair on my dog!

I know this is a dog shampoo BUT it works for eczema too! Our pediatrician recommended it for our son's white spots from eczema. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try till we could get into see a dermatologist. It cleared it up. The dermatologist gave us a prescription for the body wash with the same active ingredients but in a smaller bottle at double the cost.

This shampoo was one of the best things to come out of an $1100 Vet bill. We use it on our little Shitzu every other week. She stays cleaner -- Huzzah! The oiliness seems to have abated and she smells nice, too. The price is right on Amazon. Oh, I almost forgot: best of all she isn't scratching and itching all the time.

This has really helped my old dog. He's 14 and got ringworm. With his age he couldn't take the tablets to heal ringworm so I used this and antifungal cream. The shampoo dries out his skin, so I highly recommend conditioning after. It also dried out my hands. But it really made his skin healthy and cleaned away build up and loose hair.
