5XL for a Pointer or German Wirehair Pointer.I have only had to use this once. It seems like it will hold up well for walks in the rain. Fits my my dogs well with good back end coverage.At this point I would recommend and buy again.

Our dog has trouble going to the bathroom when it’s raining… by trouble I mean he’s stubborn haha! Bought him this hoping it would help and lo and behold it did! It was so cute on him, covered him and did its job. Only note I have is that he is a fairly long dog and the hood does not sit comfortably on his head as there is a lot of tension. Something to keep in mind!

We love that this raincoat covers our giant dog (Great Pyrenees) and is easy to take on and off. It helps minimize the drying off time on rainy days (she prefers to be outside most of time). The leg straps are essential for keeping the raincoat on well so it doesn’t flap sideways. My only complaint is that the Velcro attachments are too loosely sewn on—- they broke on both sides for us after about 9 months of use. If your dog isn’t rough on things it’ll probably last longer. The price point is good and the overall design is way superior to the ones without ñeg strap/buckles. The Velcro also catches in dog hair if you have a longer haired dog… I wish that was a buckle as well. But despite these complaints, I give it 4 stars because it’s overall a nice affordable option and it does offer better features than most of the raincoats out there, especially for active and large dogs that aren’t just using it for a brief walk or some fashion statement

Keeps the rain off for the most part. Hood seems to fall off no matter how tight you may pull the strings together but it’s a dog. I don’t think any dog hood will be good enough for dogs who have a lack of big heads unlike us to keep the hoodie from falling off. But aside from that he looks adorable and loves his little rain parka.P.S. is machine washable, and would recommended to hang it up and dry instead of dryer

Australian shepherd 63 lbs in a 5xl. Went for a 1 mile walk (20 min) during a storm in New England.Pros:- super stylish (LOOK AT HOW HE ROCKS IT)- kept the top, chest, and back of his body dry- passed the poop/urine test- reasonable priceCons:- head piece would not stay on (he moves his head around A LOT)- his tail (nub) had to be covered a few times during our walk after he shook his body to get the rain off his face.-the bottom of his body is soaked.Overall good product. I may go with another rain jacket with no head cover but with a belly cover.

We have a large chested 75 lb Goldendoodle so we ordered the 5xl coat. As you can see from the photo it fits well. Love the coverage in length and down the sides, front and back.The velcro front legged section is a little odd. Easier to leave them at the adjusted size then slip your pup's leg in. Don't try yo velcro it around your dog's leg. Not sure why they didn't just put the stretchy straps like they put on the back legs. Note: we probably won't use the front leg holes. Not really needed the way the coat hangs.As for the back legs, they could have made the stretchy back leg straps a little longer. They fit, but kinda snug for fluffy puppers.The clear visor is great. His old coat always left his head wet, we love the hood with the needed visor.We got the orange coat to help him stand out, but the added reflective stripe is a nice addition.(Please ignore the sheets on my furniture. The pup spits on them when he barks when chasing the laser dot. lol)

Great coverage of dog. Mostly water proof. I like the full belt around body to secure the coat. My only dislike is sizing runs small. I got the largest size, and it barely fits my 85 lb pup. Otherwise it looks and holds up well.

Bought this raincoat for my 70 lb short haired mixed breed. Out in a nor'easter tonight, and it worked great. Kept him nice and dry. More like a trench coat than a rain jacket. Loosely fitting, with easy to close front leg straps, and rear leg adjustable elastic bands to keep coat in place. Dog didn't mind at all. I like the over the head hoodie with clear view plastic. I sized him at 28 inches neck to rump, and the 5xl fit perfect. Very pleased so far. Would recommend. I have now had this raincoat for almost two years. Assessment: good, not great. Hoodie always falls back off his head, no adjustable tightening on the model I originally bought. Newer one looks like it has one. The leg straps are adjustable, the adjustment loosens in 10 seconds of walking, and the leg strap just hangs, not doing much. I had to knot it to shorten it up sufficiently. But it kept him dry.
