Technique Builders: Fundamental Study Patterns to Improve Piano Proficiency

I am a beginning adult piano student, and these exercises were recommended by my teacher. She has been trying to convey the importance of differences of articulation between the hands, in particular the ability to play legato with one hand and non-legato with the other simultaneously. Using some of the exercises in this book, I have had a breakthrough in achieving this particular ability. My progress has improved greatly, and I am grateful for the knowledge and motivation imparted by these exercises. It's probably best to use this with a teacher.

This is a must have for every student in my studio. Helps to reinforce all those important techniques. I use it with 5 year olds and adult students as well. A wonderful set of exercises.

I am working my way through the Technique Builder book with my teacher. It is very helpful in improving my ability to play.
