My two youngest children (2yo and 4yo) have not stopped playing with this since we took it out of the box.I debated between purchasing this one and another, and in the end chose this one. I am so happy I did. It is sturdy, the chord doesn't seem like it will be easy for my children (the youngest seems to have put all of his skill points into disable device) to take apart.Pros:Lower cost than most of the others.Very sturdyMagnets snap in easily and are easy to push back down.Pen won't get lostCons:(Note, these cons are not large enough for me to lower my score but important to note if they might for you)The magnets are so easy to push back down that sometimes they fall down when another one snaps up.The book (which isn't the reason we purchased this) has the line in the middle of the uppercase letters up to high, which doesn't help with teaching children how to really write the letters with a middle dashed line, but this was visible in the images before purchasing so I already knew it would be that way.I only bought one of them. This isn't the companies fault, but as you can imagine my two youngest are loathe to let the other play with it. Even my 8yo has gotten in on trying to keep it for herself as it is therapeutic to use.All in all this is the best one I've seen for the cost and plan to order another before my home turns into toddler thunderdome.

I wanted to love this so much and my kids love playing with it but I have a really big problem with this board. my two-year-old can disassemble the magnetic pen because it is not one whole piece so my son could pop the pen open and swallow the magnets inside. I wish they would just make the pen one piece instead of two pieces that come apart, I feel like that is really a hazard for kids other than that it is fun to teach letters

They get a one star because I only received the letter board... Contacted Amazon, they sent a replacement... Another letter board! I would have really loved the number board, as it's the whole reason I purchased this one! After contacting Amazon many times, I gave up trying to get the right order, and didn't get a refund either, half a refund would have been completely appreciated, and appropriate, considering I only got half of my order!Other than that issue, I like it, but it doesn't teach your child how to write the letters, since the magnetic balls move up to position when you are near them with the writing tool, you don't have to follow the lines to make the letters. It's fun, but definitely not educational in any way it claims to be.

I have been searching every store in town for this item. My twins have one in their kindergarten class and honestly it’s the first thing that ever made them excited about letters. This product is great and the kids haven’t stopped playing with it since it came in even the 2 and a half year old loves it! Perfect way to practice their letters without them realizing they are practicing!!!

I really like that the attached “pen” is on a stretchy cord unlike so many other toys with attached strings that are never long enough. My 3 year old is learning her letter but doesn’t have the fine motor skills to hold a pencil to write. I’m hoping this will help her work on those skills! My 1 year old also finds it very cool. And the bonus dry erase letters book is awesome! Everything seems great quality! Thanks!

I absolutely love this toy. It's a great tool I use in occupational therapy and it's quite handy! pun intended. Even better, the kids find it fun, there's auditory feedback (clicking sounds with each magnetic ball going into place) which is satisfying to hear it pop into place. PLUS the board has TWO sides, upper case and lower case! so it's good bang for your buck! As if that weren't enough, they also included a plastic workbook with triple lined XL tracing pages for the alphabet and a small expo marker. I'm so excited to start using these again!

The product arrived earlier than expected. It’s lightweight and sturdy great for little ones to use and play. Really love this, a very good design in using little magnets that react to the pen when moving over the letters in learning letter formation. I also like the alphabet workbook that comes in the pack. The letters are well placed on each page to practice writing with an actual pen. Fun writing on magnetic board and the wipe-away tracing book.

This is really well made. The magnet aspect works great. The size of the letters are about the same size as a dry erase workbook. This truly is a great buy! Even those who need a fun hands on way to inspire more learning this it the way to go. Works for about any student who can hold a pen/pencil. I am think of buying this product again for Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. Truly 5- Star product and functionality. Fast shipper.
