Works Great Still After Several Years, Easy to Install & Use
UPDATE: 3 years later, this faucet was still working like new. I cook a lot, and we have several people using the faucet daily, and it holds up extremely well. We have had NO issues with it. It is the perfect height to fit a stock pot under and fill it with water while resting on the sink divider. Everyone who has used it remarked how easy it was to use. I would definitely buy this again if I needed to, and I would miss this the most from my home. It makes life more convenient! For the price, this meets our needs and exceeded our expectations. Most metal faucets run at least $100 or more. We were hesitant about the plastic parts, but the construction and finish is of a high quality. Our Moen pull-out faucet that came with the house broke down after 8 years, which was a disappointment since they tend to cost a lot. The length of the faucet was too short, too, so I wanted something that would allow pots to fit under the faucet.PACKAGING: Arrived within 1 week of ordering with the free Supersaver shipping. Packed well with bubble wrap and inside the actual faucet box, it's neatly packed with foam cushioning.FAUCET: Looks exactly as pictured. All plastic spout, stem, handle. Came with a 3-hole faucet mount but we didn't need it since we had a 1-hole faucet. It definitely looks exactly like Chrome metal if you're looking at the faucet though. Our Moen was metal but was poorly designed so being metal was pointless. We read so many poor reviews of other Moen faucets that we were convinced not to buy another one. The handle on this is so easy to use compared to the tug we would have to use on our Moen. It's listed as ADA (disability) compliant, so this is good for anyone with arthritis or has children. I feel this will last longer because you don't have to tug on it as much so there is less wear and tear on the stem. You turn the handle up for hot water and down for cold water. You pull the handle out to adjust the water flow. Because it's a chrome-coated finish on plastic, we would not recommend using any kind of abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on it to clean it to preserve the finish. A wipe with a soft, wet cloth or sponge will work fine. I was worried that the height of the faucet would be too high, but it's actually the perfect height.TUBING: Water tubing is of a high quality and is braided with like a heavy grade nylon material, which we wanted, since they last longer than plain plastic tubing. The tube for the spray spout is weighted so that it can retract into the handle easily instead of needing a push as some other models do.WATER FLOW: Great. I think it's even better than our Moen. The spray spout works well. The spray can be adjusted for a longer reach when you pull it out, but we didn't want it that long so we adjusted the weight on the tubing.INSTALLATION: Easy. It took about 20 minutes to install. My husband installed it without looking at the instructions, except for figuring out where a missing washer part was. We ended up re-using the rubber washer from the old faucet we were replacing instead, and it worked fine. Be sure you turn off the water on both valves before you install for those that aren't too handy.

Blah. Pass on the cheap faucet
Pro:1- it looks nice from afar. just don't get too close.2- um....Cons:1- CHEAPLY made.2- the pull out hose is not protected at all and whines and groans when pulled out. This will fray and leak with any normal usage quickly.3- you must depress the shower feature each time, it does not automatically stay4- depressing said shower feature puts undue pressure on the faucet with will cause it break much quicker.5- you will need to replace this faucet MUCH quicker than if you just paid more upfront for a quality faucet.

Looks Beautiful ONLY about 1 year of service though.
It is easy to keep clean and WONDERFULLY tall. Trying to fill a tall container is not a problem any more! Keeping it wiped after using, keeps our hard water from making stains on it. The installation instructions were clear and simple. The only problem we ran into is a lack of control valve. The instructions tell you where to install it, but there wasn't one in the kit. It doesn't claim to have one in the kit but it did cause a bit of concern when we couldn't find one in our old line either. As it turns out, (after doing some research), it's the valve you put on your shower water line so you don't get blistering hot water when someone else in the bathroom flushes the toilet. We feel ok about not having one of those for our kitchen water line. Now that we have been using it for a while, there is one issue. Most faucets that I've used, left to right is the way the lever is moved to control temperature and moving up and down controls whether the water is flowing or off. This faucet is the opposite. It has taken some getting used to. The faucets in our bathrooms opperate as I've described. This faucet does have the colored spots to help you remember. Pulling the lever to the right starts the water flow. Pushing it to the left, stops the water flow. The colored spots in the picture shown here are backwards of the way the spots actually are. Pushing the lever as far back as it will go creates the hotest flow of water. Pulling it forward makes the cold water flow. The lever moves smoothly with little effort. It just takes a little time to get used to everything being in an unusual direction. Don't throw away the old weight from your previous faucet. The one that comes in the kit is VERY heavy. It makes the sprayer head reseat very well but it does require effort to pull it out. I still have the heavy one on the hose of the sprayer. If the person that uses the faucet most has arthritis issues, it may be too heavy. I was initially concerned about the fact that the faucet isn't entirely made of metal. It does wipe easily to keep clean. My previous faucet was all metal and I had to work hard to keep the hard water from making permenant marks. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. We've had it 7to months now. Still lovin' it. Keep it wiped down when you use it and even our hard water won't make marks. You adjust to the different directions and don't even think about it. Just remember to tell visitors or the result can be pretty comical!Lowered the stars.Sad to say just past the 1 year mark, the handle for all the control broke off. I had noticed it getting looser and looser. I don't slap the handle so abuse was not the issue. I am SO disappointed! This faucet had been exactly what I wanted. Where the handle joins the faucet, a screw holds it in place. The handle is plastic. Not dense heavy duty use plastic. Just cheesy plastic, the kind of clear/light green stuff you see on vintage toys. Broke my heart. Found a long 3/8" bolt, (from a hollow wall hangar in my toolbox), that was sufficient as a replacement for the control lever until the faucet could be replaced. A metric size just a hair larger might have been an exact fit. So sad!

great buy
I was reluctant because I read one of the reviews that said it was plastic but because of the price thought I would try it anyway. So far, it has been great. It was incredibly easy to install, it is attractive and works great. It is plastic but you would never know it from it's looks or how it functions. I like the way the on/off and temperature control is on the side of the faucet and that the faucet pulls out. Great buy.
