The relative volumes of bass and treble are perfect, which is often a problem on jazz albums. The best saxophone music of all time, and the most ecstatic sense of timelessness and joy and peace. Timeless Favorite
Were it not for the badly cracked case, I'd definitely have given this a 5. The music and talent on this CD are definitely 5 star, a fine sampling of some of Brazil's finest, and Stan Getz is superb, adding depth and texture to a sultry collection. I love Jobim's timeless music, and this ranks high on my list.

Beautiful mood music!
I saw a video on YouTube and forgot how much I liked The Girl from Ipanema and it was mentioned that this album had not only that song but two other ones from my past. It's a great CD. Make yourself a lovel meal, drink some wine, relax, light a candle and listen to this CD.

item arrived scratched and cracked
The five stars rating doesn't mean anything for it arrived scratched and the jewel case cracked. I was unable to listen to it.

Classic, Definative Bossa Nova Recording
Great music, with an outstanding interpretaion by saxaphone great Stan Getz. A real musician should listen intensely to these recordings and absorb the rythmns and techniques - masterful!!! ERSJR
