Excellent upgrade!
Brilliant! I had the old style loose bearing BBThe drive side was LONGER on the spindle to make room for the cranksetBut this replacement fit perfectly and spaced out the crankset without rubbing the frame : )

Typical Shimano quality
I recently built up an old steel frame for a dedicated bike for my indoor trainer. By far the most economical route was to use an old-style square taper bottom bracket. When pricing bottom brackets the cheap no-names weren't any less expensive than this Shimano.This BB works great and makes me wonder why we didn't just stick with metal frames and square-taper bottom brackets. Easy assembly and perfect function. I know from the ones on the other bikes I've had for decades that there is nothing on a bicycle more durable. Highly recommended.

Shimano Bottom Bracket
Arrived fast, better than original knock off the bike came with. Fit perfectly. Smooth bearings. Especially like the shaft seals which provided additional protection th the sealed bearings.

Fit well and works well. Read the installation tips on-line. First, I installed the non-drive side first, and my chainline was off. I repeated by installing the drive-side first, and it fit much better. Go figure. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and was glad I was able to find it.

Love the feel. It does feel smoother after you install so don't freak out if it feels difficult to move when you first open it. Also double check that you have it on the right side and that you are turning it the right way.

This is a great upgrade if you’re looking to replace the original on your bike. The bearings are better and way better sealed

子供が高校の通学に使用していたママチャリのBB修理用に購入しました。チェーンカバーも一緒に固定するので固定用のボルトは、鉄製を期待したのですが、アルミ製でした。（問題なく固定できています）送料込みで1,500円以下。。。買って後悔することはないと思います。
