My prior dongle I was using would lose connection each time the wire was moved or touched so I decided to try this one out and I'm very happy I did. Works great and no issues with connecting cables.

This is a really great product considering the price and features. The standout feature on the USB adapter is the audio output for plug in earphones. Another nice feature is the memory card readers. This device will charge and power you laptop or tablet through the USB C socket. There are a couple things that it does not do. It does not power USB devices alone while plugged into a USB C charger. I tested this on a slide scanner. I use this device for my iPad Pro and iPad Air. I would not recommend plugging in USB devices that require alot of power like external hard drives, MIDI keyboards, or external DVD drives. It works excellent with USB wireless mouse, keyboard recievers and thumb drives. The hub chord could be longer for plugging this into tablet it hangs and could put strain on the socket. This hub does support 4k output; however, it does not support display outputs like High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Dolby Vision. If you have a 4K 120hz television and computer or tablet that also supports HDR, Dolby Vision you may want to purchase Apple’s USB C HDMI adapter (Which I already own). I tested this hub with different HDMI cables and there is no diffence in connection for HDR and Dolby Vision options. The Apple adapter supports HDR and Dolby Vision is also why it is so expensive. This is a great device for the price and features I recommend it.

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro M1. It recognizes everything except audio jack. I recently grabbed a 1TB external hard drive & my Mac recognized the hard drive without having to reformat it (which is kinda typical for Mac users to have to do). I'd say to grab this jawn if you readin' reviews.

Apple... why do they constantly change things? When I needed a new iPad, I settled on the iPad Air; it had all the features I needed. Except, no headphone jack, and since it now has USB-C, my lightning to phono jack was also useless.So, I found this fantastic piece of equipment to counter that (I really don't like using wireless headphones) - and there is the one exception to how much I love this piece of equipment. It works wonderfully, but the volume controls do not respond. It's one volume only. This isn't much of an issue since my headphones have an inline volume control that works with it, but if you have regular headphones, you get one volume - loud.Everything else works better than expected. The pass-through charging is great, I read every USB thumb drive I have, and even external Hard Drives. My camera SD cards read great as well. The only thing I haven't tried is the HDMI, but I really don't have a need for it so...All in all, I would highly recommend this if you need the versatility. Just wish the volume control worked.

So far, works well. No issues.I actually only bought this solely for USB cables and for the receivers of a wireless keyboard and mouse that I already owned beforehand.I have them so I can use a laptop stand at home and on the go and because of this, I tend to prop up the HUB vertically. I haven't really used it any other way, so for all I can tell you, it works perfectly fine. Worth the price.

It’s the same I was expecting to get. I was surprised to see it is even smaller than it seems to be in the picture. Very fit.
