The TinyTuner CT-20 Chromatic tuner tunes just about any instrument that you can clip it on to. And the Tiny size lets you take it anywhere! Not only that, this tiny tuner has a clean elegant style with a white cream casing, and a blue display screen which turns green when in tune. If you have to tune your instrument – why not tune in style? The TinyTuner CT-20 Chromatic tuner is also super easy to use! Just clip it on to your instrument, play a note and the note you're playing will be displayed on the tuner. When you're in tune the screen turns green.... it's as simple as that! When you're done, you don't even have to turn it off because it turns off automatically. For most musicians, they'll just want to clip and tune. But for the discriminating musician, this tuner comes packed with several other features: Pitch Calibration If you want to tune your instrument slightly sharp or flat, you may use the calibration feature and change the pitch reference. The pitch reference is usually set at A=440Hz, but you can adjust that to be anywhere between 410Hz – 490Hz. Display metronome This Tiny tuner includes a display metronome (a metronome without sound). The metronome has a range of 30bpm - 280bpm. Transpose feature Most useful for guitar players, this feature allows you to place a capo on your guitar from the 1st fret to the 4th fret and the tuner will tune using standard tuning (E-A-D-G-B-E). Each "b" displayed on the tuner corresponds to a fret on the guitar. For example, if you place a capo on the 3rd fret, you'd want 3 flats ("bbb") displayed on the tuner. Clip and Mic modes The TinyTuner CT-20 tuner can be used using "clip" mode or "mic" modes. "Clip" mode uses a high sensitivity vibration sensor to read the notes you're playing. "Mic" mode allows you to tune using the built-in microphone. 1 year warranty To top things off – this tuner comes with a limited 1 year warranty!

Not a bad product....
This tuner is a little difficult to get used to and for a violin it doesn't clip on well anywhere. There are no instructions in it and so it's kinda hard to figure out how to use it too. I had to kinda look online for a clue.........I've never used a tuner before. But once you figure it out it's alright. I think it could be better............especially the clip and it would be extremely handy to have had instructions! But it will do the job and the price is pretty good.

Runs through batteries, but I still like it......
I love the tuner. It is dead on for I use it for. But I have experienced short battery life. One of the main reasons I like it is because it is easier to see. My eyes are not as good as they used to be, so this is important to me. On the other hand, I love the snark and have been using the same one without having to change the batteries. So for long term use, I use the snark. For days when I am experiencing the blurs, I use the Tiny Tuner.

A cheap Snark
I have many, many tuners I have used over the past 20 years (a musician since 1967), so I pretty much know what I am talking about. The CT-20 is easier to see than the Snark but that's where it ends. The CT-20 would not tune the low E on one of my acoustics and the Snark had no problems at all.I buy a guitar tuner to tune my guitars, not because the screen is brighter.Nuff said!

Very nice, but is it a battery eater?
I have no complaints about the features and performance - I really do like it. But it's probably been on for a total 10 minutes, and in that time, it's gone through 2 new batteries. Which would make this a very expensive unit to own. I don't think I'm leaving it on. Anyone else experiencing this?

Uses up the battery
This tuner works well, but storing it properly is important as it is easy to turn on and it will stay on till the battery depletes. Uses CR2032 batteries. Customer service was responsive when I thought I had a defective tuner; it was a weak battery.

Great little device!
A quick and exact device to get anything you want tuned in no time. Don\t forget to turn it off sometimes.. It may drain the battery very fast.

visible in bright sunlight
I purchased this tuner for my guitar because I play a lot of outdoor gigs and I found that with most clip-on tuners I was not able to see the reading in bright sunlight. Not so with this one, I can see the readings clearly even on the sunniest days.

Great product
Brought after losing my last one, works really well, the colour screen is great indicator. compared to a few different tuners and tones and reads spot on
