This bed is absolutely terrible. It is so cheap
This bed is absolutely terrible. It is so cheap... I read another review about how the zipper broke, and I decided to ignore that and try it for myself. I am very upset, as the zipper was broken before I even got to use the bed. It cam in the box broken. The fabric on the bottom is so bad...it is almost ready to tear. I have not even put the bed on the floor.. I wanted to return it, but unfortunately I left it in my garage in the box, as my dog has been very sick. I forgot about it until today...just over the 30 day return policy...So now I am STUCK with a $60 bed that is worthless. Now I am forced to keep it and will now have to spend additional money to have a new zipper put in it. The actual insert to the bed to is awful. So much for buying dog beds on Amazon. I will continue to buy at COSTCO, where you can but a real quality dog bed for $20 - $30.I warn you....dont waste your money on this bed. Its terrible.

and the insides always end up getting torn up (not to mention smelling like dirty dog since you can't wash them)
Dog beds don't seem to last but so long so why spend a lot? We've bought much more expensive beds, but after multiple washings the covers/zippers start to wear, and the insides always end up getting torn up (not to mention smelling like dirty dog since you can't wash them). These are just the right size for our 50-pound dog, Walter, to curl up on. He likes to move them from place to place. They don't take up a lot of room and are attractive. Ours last about a year and then need to be replaced.

It still does the job!
I bought one of these 'Drifter' dog beds in January 2012, the same winter that I purchased two "AlphaPooch Snoozer Round Fleece Bolster Dog Bed" beds which wore out within a few months - I've kept using them only because they still provided a cushiony area and I really don't relish shopping for dog beds every six months - but today I'm replacing them. I am replacing the 'Snoozers' with two more 'Drifter' beds because my first one has held up very well. Other than the surface area of the fleece looking lovingly used, I would describe the bed as 'just like new'. I'm looking forward to tossing the 'Snoozers' as soon as my 'Drifters' arrive, and even more forward to knowing that the dog beds will last for several years.

Soft, comfy, nice looking - and sheds like crazy :-<
It looks good. It's soft. It's a nice color. It's a good size. It's obviously comfy - the dog took to it right away; he loves it and curls up in it a lot. From a human's POV, it's a PITA. Little brown fuzzy things are now ALL OVER THE FLOOR. They return within a few hours of vacuuming. Basically, bits of the covering get caught in the dog's paws and he tracks them all over. They primarily get stuck in the rugs, so I'm having to vacuum two or three times as frequently as before. This is incredibly annoying. I've washed the bed twice; it didn't help.UGH :-P

Not very durable
I love the design of this bed, but it isn't durable enough for our current needs. We've had this bed for a few months and it's not durable enough for a puppy. After the first washing, the pattern showed definite fading. Now that it's been washed a couple times, it doesn't look so good. Our puppy is also pulling the fleece off leaving bare spots.I don't recommend this bed for a puppy- or any dog that likes to chew. Buy something cheaper or tougher.

Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because this thing sheds like crazy. I kept finding little brown fuzz all ...
Exactly the size I needed. Exactly what I needed. Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because this thing sheds like crazy. I kept finding little brown fuzz all over my house....turns out it was coming from this bed.

our dog sleeps well on this new bed
Seems like the dog finds it very comfortable. Only issue I have is with the fluffy side. Our dog loves to claw at the bed to make it more comfortable and the fuzzy bits seem to shave off as she does that. Makes for a lot more vacuuming, which is not so great.
