Henri by Eric Kim Handmade Premium Leather Camera Neck Strap

If you don't know Eric Kim, he is a talented street photographer with a terrific blog. It's really more than a blog, it's a terrific educational tool for budding street photographers that contains not only extensive blog posts but full-length downloadable books as well. Truly great stuff, I've learned a ton from him. When I saw that he was selling a leather camera strap of his own design I knew I had to try it - a camera strap designed by a photographer, this could be good. And it is! The strap is beautifully made from high-quality leather and very cleverly packaged. It looks, feels and smells great and does it's job well. I'm 6'4" tall and my only concern was whether it was going to be long enough for me. No problem, it fits me perfectly and puts the camera right where I want it. I can't wait to see how the leather patinas as I continue to use it, I have little doubt it will age well.I recommend the Henri strap very highly and will likely pick up another one as a backup.

I love it! What else is there to say about this strap that hasn’t been said?Here’s why I love it.It’s plain – no annoying words that shout “LOOK AT ME - I HAVE A …”;It’s leather – feels good to the touch and doesn’t irritate my skin when I grab on to it;It’s a good size – I can wear it over one shoulder, ready to lift it up to make a pic. Or I can wear it across my body so I can lift the camera into position for a “live view” shot;It’s supple – I can wrap the strap around my arm and carry the camera in one hand, knowing the camera will be secure.I’m very happy with this strap.And it’s my second one ‘cause I’m still using my first on another camera.

This is an absolutely exquisitely made strap, with clear attention to detail, quality leather and hardware. In addition, Kim could have just as easily packaged the strap in a plastic bag, pretty much the way most items of this nature come. However, this strap is packaged in a beautiful handmade, wooden box with a top that slides open to reveal the strap. I recommend this product highly! Thank you Maestro.

Soft and pliable strap. Well-stitched. Leather appears to be quality. I'm using it on a Leica M1. However, I modified strap. I did not like brass adjustment loop so I cut it off with some snips. It just got in the way and the full length is perfect for me. The leather cover which sits on the strap adjuster kept snagging on things so I tossed it.

I really like the quality of this neck strap. It's just the right length and I like leather over synthetics since I sweat less and the leather forms around my neck. It's a good product.

This is the ideal strap for my Leica Q. It matches the quality of the camera. It is well balanced and of just the right width to wear all day. I highly recommend this as a substitute for Leica's own rather stiff offering.

I liked the first one of these I bought so much that I ordered a second one. They look great on my cameras and are made to last.
