This screw-on lens (step-up/down adapter rings included) is not the highest quality. But - for the money spent you should realize this is not a show stopper.The biggest thing to be aware of - since this mounts (screws onto) an existing lens its "fisheye" capability is altered (limited by) the focal length of your lens. So, if you mount it on a 50mm lens you get approx 30-35mm focal length equivalent - based on the altered angle of view. So - the larger the focal length the less angle of view and therefor you do not get a strong effect. It is slightly more exaggerated for close objects - but only slightly.I recommend this to anyone with very limited funds who wants to try it on a lens which already has a short focal length. Beyond that, you can achieve better "fisheye" effects using software or in-camera processing (if available). Or - get a real fully mounted fisheye lens suited to your camera.I'll keep it in my pack to test further... but I'm not impressed.

THIS LENS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE MACRO FILTER THAT COMES ATTACHED TO ITAfter I received it in the mail, I was a little upset because I specifically wanted a fisheye lens that didn't have a macro filter on it. I checked back on the product page to find that the description very subtly mentions it's "Good for Macro Too! Multi Coated"Well, it's not good for macro too. It's ONLY good for macro because the threading is set up in such a way that the fisheye lens will only attach to it's macro adapter (or some non-existent camera with threading on the outside of the main lens)At this point, I would have still given the product two stars despite lying in the product description, but the lens arrived in a box that had already been opened. Sure, it's possible they were checking for quality control purposes, but there is also dirt INSIDE the lens that was shipped to me.I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Waste of time and money.
