Clings to pan
One has to kind of bang the cake out of the pan. It does not simply tip out. It's true that the cake does not stick to the pan not sticks it to the brown side. However, one must encourage it to leave the pan. Perhaps I'm using it upside down?

This is my second purchase of these liners, but I did not buy any of them for their intended purpose. I have an induction range with a glass top and choose to use cast iron for many of my cooking needs. I fear what the cast iron might do to the glass top, so I use these as a trivet between the cast iron and glass. I put the brown side down and set the pans on top. An added benefit is the pans easily slide around eliminating the need to pick up the pans should I need to turn them during cooking activities. I use the first set several times a week and the are still holding up, but I thought I could use a back up set for future use.

I love them, for what I use them for...
I don't actually use these baking liners for making cakes or anything - I use them for rolling out tortillas. They are perfect! I needed something round and heat-proof and they do the trick just great.
