OfficeMax 20 Sheet Electric Stapler

Pretty good and looks nice. Had it about a month and no problems with any size stack of papers that I ordinarily staple (and I'm a teacher preparing handouts for classes) besides my home and personal receipts and documents. Staples are the regular size and easy to put in. No jamming. It's taken a while to learn exactly where to put the papers in to get the staple where I want it. Very stable. Doesn't rock or move around much from use but it does slide backward on the desk fairly easy when I push books and others things around on the desk. That could be a plus if you want to move it around easily. Remember that you need a place to plug it in. My desk faces an open space as people come in the door to my office and the cord hanging down is a little unsightly. But, hey, it's a home office. And it's not like I didn't know it had a cord. I surely didn't want a battery operated one. Came well packaged and protected and on time. I guess the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is I can't get that excited about a stapler.

I've used this puppy every work day since getting it and I am satisfied. I think I've refilled it maybe 3 times so far. The 20 sheet max is accurate. It hasn't jammed (knock on wood) and it saves my wimpy hands from using a manual stapler. The staple job is sturdy whether it's holding 2 pages or 20. Staple removal is not difficult. The only con for me is how far into the page it staples. Depending on the content of the pages, sometimes it's difficult to turn the page and read details closest to the staple and you can't adjust the depth. That said, it's not a problem with most of my work, just some. If I needed another stapler, I'd get this one again.

I got say this is my best friend ! . My husband is a English teacher and let me tell you my hands hurt really bad after stapling over 100 pages . Then I when out got this stapler let me life got really easy for me. Got the job done really fast..

I bought to replace another electric stapler that quit working. This stapler looks sturdy in the photos, but is kind of lightweight and dosn't seem to have much force behind the stapling. (It sounds as if it's rotating the staples in!) This wasn't quite what I was expecting. It works fine, but doesn't staple with much force.

It frequently refuses to staple. You buy an electric stapler for convenience. This stabler is more effort than traditional staplers, so it is inconvenient.

This stapler does the job but not nearly as well as the Swingline electric staplers. It is not nearly as stylish as the Swingline models and better suited to student use.

Cheaply made and not powerful. I will keep it but look around before buying this one.

Very satisfied. I have used electric staplers for 20+ years. I tried buying an expensive name brand that broke within a few minutes and was very loud. I went back to the OfficeMax brand. I'm so happy with this brand. It's quiet and works perfectly.
