Fire Hazard-bad converter box
The luminescent wire itself is great. The driver/converter box is not. It's a fire hazard. If left on for more than 10 minutes the converter will overheat, smoke and melt. I bought 2 units. I pulled the melted converter from the first unit and wired the second converter into the original luminescent wire. Same thing. I purchased another converter (from a different company) and again rewired my set up using the original luminecest wire. It finally works for extended periods without being a fire hazard. If I wasnt still intending to use the wire from the original purchase, I would have returned it. Do not buy this. Go with a different company.

Not what I expected according to the seller's advertising. No installation instructions or tips for inexperienced installers.

Worth more stars
Idk why this has 3 stars, I'm assuming people review things negatively when they can't figure it out but this is really simple and looks good. It's not too bright so it's more of an accent which is what I hoped for. Looks good in my '02 civic!

Nice product but color is off
The cable I purchased was supposed to be red. When i opened the box it looked orange cut i figured that against my black dashboard it would look red. When installed it still looks more orange than red. Its not until late at night whe. Its dark that the red comes out. The brightness is good, not too bright as to be distracting when you drive with it on.

Depends on your car
Brightness was nice, installation was ok.. it didn’t work for my car because the crevasses in my car were either too small and it would fit or too but and it would fall out.

Don’t last long in the sun
They look great when first installed, but fade very easily and quickly in the sun. This makes them look unevenly colored and cheap. I removed them in less than a month after installing. Oh well.

Very dim and turn off after two days
I installed wich took hours cause the cords were very messed up in shipping then plug in and not even half of it works and ridiculously dim after two days the entire strip ended up not working, very displeased with this product upset I wasted any money never buying again
