This detergent doesn't have the harsh chemicals that Tide, Cheer, etc have. It's not just that the clothes, I feel, are treated better, but the chemical residue should be less harmful to me after wearing clothes washed in ECOS.My clothes come out of the washer then dryer just as clean as with traditional detergents. I see no difference.Detergent that gets on my hands, I believe is less harmful.In the USA cancer rates continue to rise and I believe we have the chemical companies to thank for that and our government that fails to regulate them.I believe the advertising and independent tests that ECOS has less harmful chemicals.

I love this laundry soap! I love this size, too. I just purchased the 100 oz. size off Amazon, but through Soap.com. Check it out, because it is a great deal. I even got free shipping and it was much cheaper to buy it through Soap.com in the larger size bottles. The small size bottles, probably about 25 oz., are not my favorite. They are usually leaking when they arrive and they are very small. I saved the 50 oz. bottles and transferred it all into those.

This detergent has a pleasant citrusy smell and leaves the cloting with nearly no smell (not like others which leave your cothes smelling like perfume.I highly recommend this product.

This detergent is WONDERFUL! I picked it up at my local discount club. I was skeptical, but decided to give it a whirl due to the natural ingredients and price. Thought if it didn't get kids clothes clean, I would used for towels only. So glad I did. I have washed about 4 loads now, two of which contained (very) MUDDY kids clothes. Dirt and grime washed right out with no additional pretreatment needed. I have the lavender scent and it is very mild. Not offensive whatsoever. Used only the amount stated on the bottle. No need for extra. I will never go back to my old detergent!!!
