I got this as a replacement for a Spider case (no longer available). I really like it. The charge port does accept larger non-Apple charge cables, it works perfectly fine with the generic cables from for example Walmart. Sound is clear. Case is sturdy, easy to close, easy to open - just use the tool that came with it. All the functions are accessible - everything lines up just fine.I may come back and comment on durability when I know about it.

Haven’t had long but it seems well made and fit perfectly.

My husband will not upgrade and is still holding on to his 5s. This case seems sturdy and hopefully will hold up better than the more expensive life proof case (that husband has gone through 3 of). The switch on the side is the part that always falls apart first and this case has a hard plastic "dial" there. The only downside I have seen is that it is too slick. It doesn't have any rubber grip on it so it slides out of my husbands pocket real easy. If they could add that they would have a winner.

This case did exactly what i was wanting it to do and actually beat out the lifeproof I’ve being having to pay far more and replace constantly. This case was simpler , tougher and much smoother to grt in and out of a pocket , without all that ridiculous rubber outer, like the lifeproof. Never tested that submersion part of it . Water was not anything i have to worry about . Ringer on / off function is also superior to any others also . Just roll instead of push back and forth . Will be rebuying rhis model if and when it fails at some point . Gentle is something i am not with the phone !

I got this to replace my 2 year old life proof case on a 2.5 year old phone with boating season on its way and didn't want to spend $99having it for 5 weeks now it has taken a 3 foot drop splashed with water and hours in my pocket with keys and other sharp objects wellI am not a fan on how you close up the water tight plugs ...but they workthe sound quality is OK and the thumb print cover is way better than my old onelast thing is the switch to turn on and off the ringer is not very good lucky i don't use mineif it lasts the until the fall i will be happy

Nice quality and easy installation for the most part. The only things that are concerning are the home button cover since it is super thin so that the fingerprint scan er can still be used. The other concern is how “water proof” the charger and auxiliary cord jacks are. They seem to open easily which in turn may cause it not to be waterproof if you aren’t paying attention.
