I really like this medic alert necklace. The shape is eye catching. The cadeceus, medical sign, alerts the EMS and the hospital that you have medical issues. It is engraved and has black enamel so the letters won't wear down. It is pretty and functional.

I was worried that for the price this might tarnish quickly or turn my neck green or something, especially with all the sweating from the 100°+ weather, but it has been spotless and unchanged. I've had it for a little over a month. I do not wear it on the shower, so I can't speak to how it would hold up with that treatment.The engraving is very legible and came correctly as ordered. The only change I needed was that I got a chain extender, because it's a little too short for my taste because kept coming out from my collar. But that's only because I don't want it to be showing and wanted to be able to take it on and off over my head without unchaining. It is not uncomfortably tight or a choker or anything like that.The lobster clasp is a little awkward, but aren't they all!

We love the fact we could engrave our daughter's full name on it & add our name & cell # on this alert necklace. Our daughter has a rare brain disorder so she doesn't speak well & doesn't know her full name or where she lives. If she were to wonder off in a crowd or school or store, etc- at least someone might notice her necklace w/our cell # on it. Gives us a bit of peace of mind. Steardy product & she likes to wear it. We got second charn to add to it with notice she has seizures, too.

I have to wear a medical alert something due to my medications and allergies. This adds a touch of glamour to a sensible piece of jewelry.

I'm getting ready to go out of town for a week ed because of large dosagewithout my better half. I was able to customize this re my diabetes, insulin, and put dosage of medicine that wouldneed to be continued if something happened and could not communicate. I also had room to put ICE phone #on it. I feel much more comfortable traveling alone now.

This is a Medical Alert medallion. VERY difficult to read - especially if someone medical needs to! Plenty of room for a larger font.
