LED License Plate Light Lamp Assembly Compatible with 2005-2009 Mustang 6000K White, Pack of 1

It’s a good product. The LEDs is pretty bright but it’s not crazily over done. At first it didn’t work but after messing with my OEM socket I have come to find out that a lot of dust through the years on the inside of the bumper had messed with the connection. After cleaning up up a bit it worked like a charm, so user error. Do check up in the connections not just in the socket but where the wires feed into the socket dirt was trapped in there on mine, you also don’t have a lot of slack to pull it down to clean either so be careful. But again, the part is fantastic. With my other LED accessories like the side markers it really fits well and it’s a really easy install. You have 2 plastic screws which you can just pull out with a knife or pry tool instead of normal screw driver as it’ll just sit and spin. You will want to pinch and pull out the pins on the OEM assembly and re-insert them into the new LED assembly so those plastic screws can slid into them and then nicely into the bumper, so don’t go crazy on them and tear them up. Pretty standard stuff the price is quite fair, probably too fair but the quality so far has been really good and the brightness is pretty nice and it’s not over done. I really recommend if you’re trying to modernize your mustang and be easier to see in the road at night.

Bright is an understatement. Looks fantastic and even can be used as a reverse light!

It was easy to install and replace my broken tag light. I’m very pleased with the result.

Replaced on my wife’s Lincoln town car. Nice bright white light.

They were very easy to install but feel very cheap. Only time will tell how long they will last. They do seem to flicker a little.

My LP light had finally gone out and needed replacing for annual inspection. I decided to go with an LED version and chose this one.Installation was easy ONCE I FIGURED OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE PUSH-PIN LOCK.#1 It looks like a screw because there's a cross-point in the head. NOT. You need something with a sharp edge or very thin flat tip to pry it out. Once you have it up it will come right out.#2 Then there is the "anchor". That's the best way to describe it as that's exactly what it looks like, a screw anchor you get for hanging things on a wall. So many online video's show just pulling the lamp assembly out once you remove the "screws". But no matter how much I pulled it would not move. I did NOT want to damage the bumper cover! Once again you need a small flat-blade screwdriver to get between the "head" and the body of the LP lamp assembly. You then pry it up. I then used needle-nosed pliers to grab it and pull it out.#3 Once both sides were removed the lamp assembly came out easily. I had bought a set of LP lamp mounting "clips" but the "screws" were incorrect. They had a protrusion behind the screw head that prevented them setting flush in the assembly's recessed area. I was able to use the new "anchors" and the old "screws to mount the new assembly. Fit was snug and no movement.The brightness is comparable to a backup light but pointed down. That's what I first thought at night when I turned on my lights.
