Better if you ride in smooth water
I live in South Florida and ride in the Keys on the bay side and cross through a channel to the ocean regularly. There is a significant difference in how well this throttle works in calm water vs rougher water.When riding in calm waters this is the perfect addition to your waverunner. If its choppy or rough it actually makes throttle control much harder if you try to use more than 2 fingers. The only way I've found to adjust for the hyper sensitivity of this lever is to use the typical 2 fingers as intended on the stock throttle lever. Due to the principles of leverage, the throttle is a lot more sensitive to touch and a lot more responsive. When your bouncing around you can't help but goose the throttle on every wave. The only way I've found to compensate for this is to move my fingers back to the same place on the lever where are the the original finger position would be. Sort of defeats the purpose of the intention behind the design.Having said all of this, I'd buy it again because it helps a lot in calm water. It's a quality well build product. If all you ride in is calm waters, buy this. You'll love it. If your mostly an ocean or rough water rider, plan on controlling the throttle from same point on the lever as the original stock design.

Modify Probable for Waverunners
It solves the hand numbness but this is at the cost of full throttle access. My waverunner has a limited power mode but this would keep the inexperienced rider under 40 mph instead of allowing 67 mph at WOT. I am going to adjust settings to allow for quick removal as I desire by keeping an align wrench in the glovebox. Oh and I had to cut the little ball off the end to get the 39mph.

Thought this would be similar to the controls on my Harley but it is not you loose fine control of the throttle. I found the I still used to fingers to operate the throttle reaching out as far as this moved you grip causes unsteady speeds. Took it off after one trip to the lake. Do not recommened.

Product works, but makes the ski throttle control VERY sensitive! Only possible to use on smooth water....otherwise, causes constant throttle surge.

Great idea but unless you have gorilla hands, you can reach around it to use it once it's installed. I immediately installed mine and then had to immediately remove them.

Did not work on my jet ski for what we wanted. Good product though
