Lonely Planet Kids Amazing World Atlas: The world’s in your hands

Colorful interesting pictures and fun facts that seem like they’ll appeal to kids! I liked that it included information about many different cultures from all the continents! I think my 9 year old grandson will love this book.

I homeschool and we needed a children's Atlas. I bought a few based on recommendations. I ended up returning others and keeping this one. It shows each country but also goes into detail about things that particular region is known for. We also love the REAL pictures. I'm not a fan of Atlas books with drawings; we want to see real photos of local people and/or animals. We're very happy with it.

I've only flipped through this as it's a gift, but it appears to be very nice. It is up to date including South Sudan and labels Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Looking forward to reading more after my son's birthday!

This is an excellent resource for homeschooling. It'll has very colorful pictures and full of information. I highly recommend!

filled with information and fascinating facts

Sad to see yet again how people try to diminish the Jewish land and Jewish history. It says it Like if the Jewish religion who is based completely in israel since the beginning is a modern conflict. Like there was ever a land called Palestine that was of muslims in the map before. It’s very hard and triggering to see how when Jews are indigenous to Judea and it’s the only Jewish land in the world that is smaller than New Jersey, and yet is the only religion and land that people questions and can’t stand their self existence. I would never buy this book and would recommend people who care about actual history not to buy it

Nice atlas for younger kids learning about the world. Nice pictures and short but good descriptions of different countries and continents.
