I had a plastic device similar to this that was a gift from a knife demo. This didn't come with directions, but the demonstrator said to roll the fruit with pressure in order to break down the cell walls. Wash the fruit before insertion. If you crushed it well, before you use the product, some juice will come out as you twist it in. So be sure to use the juicer over your container to eliminate waste. I squeeze the fruit from all angles and then after removing the juicer squeeze again. Done in this manner conserves most if not all of the juice.

This works, and one good thing is you can keep in fruit and refrigerate easily. I prefer traditional juicers feeling like I get more juice out of it.

Great tool. Had this for nearly 2 years and it's still a regular go-to for me. I owned 2 plastic ones before and both broke rather quickly. This makes juicing my lemons and limes very simple. However, you do need select larger limes. I'd also recommend dishwashing. It has sharp edges on this reamer so I can't imagine hand washing it. It'd be hard not to cut yourself.

It did not meet my expectation. I feel while using this, more lime juice is wasted. Since it has external sharp blades, u might even end up cutting your hand.I now feel i wasted money on this tool.Any day, wooden citrus reamer is a better option to this. Sorry.

It works fine. Too bad there's no little cap to close the top. I wanted a sturdy one and this appears a tool that won't break when I force it into a citrus fruit. The sharp side bits are rather scary-looking, though. I try to be extra careful when screwing it in. In the photo, I wasn't sure there was a spout on the rim--but there IS. Good!

This thing is Huge! It’s bigger than my limes & almost to big for my lemons. Unless you have monster lemon/limes try something else. Lol

I have to say, I didn't need it, but I wanted it. It works to get all the juice off the lemons, I still have to put a colander or I would get the seeds but its quick and easy to clean.
