Great, Heavy Duty - great paint , but…
The item is really heavy duty, but there is no catch to secure the lock bolt when you don’t have a pad lock in it. Still works great though!

Works as expected and a great replacement for old bolt …
Purchased to replace a barrel bolt that I installed 2-years ago. Old bolt had a problem with wood swelling, with inclimate weather, causing bolt to bind in the receiver.The new barrel bolt is long enough that I could position it along the top 2X4 and it fits into the receiver without a problem.I would recommend this barrel bolt!

Happy with this gate latch...
This is well designed, well made, and more heavy-duty than anticipated...all much appreciated! The slide works well and is easy to manipulate. It's such a good bolt lock that I kept the 5* rating, but be aware that the screws included are not the same quality or appearance as the gate latch.
