Performs as expected.
I dithered a bit wondering if this would fit and what length to get. The 1 3/8 I finally decided on goes through a 1/2 plywood door and then hooks behind the 3/4 inch plywood cabinet edge. I put some adhesive foam along the door to stop it from rattling as it is in a camper van. With the straight piece and the one with a little off-set that can go either way, there is really quite a bit of adjustment that can happen. Be careful when spacing the latch away from whatever it will latch on making sure it has enough room to turn and sit in a closed position. I wish the turn latch part was a bit bigger and easier to use as a knob as I use it on a main cupboard in my van. It works though and I didnʻt expect it to be any bigger. All the ones I looked at looked about the same size. Iʻm happy with my choice. I gave one star down on the install because you really do need to pay attention and do some planning. Unless you are replacing an existing latch.

Price rose 44% in less than a month. What are they thinking....
I just finished installing 10 of these and they work fine. The detent to lock into position isn't as strong as on the ones they're replacing. I expect them to work alright (i.e. stay closed).A few of my original ones are in bad shape. I wanted to replace them all at once, but I miscounted and need to order another two parts. Imagine my surprise when I came back in less than a month ago and the price rose by 44% of what I paid. What a rip!!! No idea if it's Amazon's market "research" based on my buying, or if the price went up for everyone. I won't order them at the inflated price in any event.

Simple update to ensure cabinet doors remain closed in an RV.
When I purchased my travel trailer these were on some, not all, cabinet doors. The prior owner used a piece of rope to hold 2 doors closed when traveling, so I got these hoping they would match and work as well as the others, which they did. Install is easy and they have a very study feel.NOTE: These are for 1-3/8", Amazon sells other sizes (like 1-1/8") so make sure you get the size appropriate for the panel thickness.

No more drawings slamming open on the road!
Installed these on two big long drawers under the dinette in my RV. Took a little thinking to get placement correct, but not rocket science. Exactly what I was looking for, no more drawer slamming open on the road. HINT, use a 5/8" forsner bit and carefully drill overlapping holes to create an oval shape so the lock body can't turn. Start very shallow until you have a shoulder for the bit to follow. (Doing a sample drill on a piece of scrap will help you keep from screwing up your finished product.) I scored a line at the centerline of the hole to the catch the starter point of the bit to keep the oval square with the drawer. Takes a little work getting started but definitely worth the effort.

Why didn't I install these years ago?
I've been fiddling with keys to unlock the compartments on our camper for years. Why?? Who would want to steal a dirty rug, bent hotdog forks, a crappy trash can, and old knotted rope? Now, with one of these in place of the locks, it's SO SIMPLE! Just turn it with your fingers and they easily open. And installation took all of 2 minutes each. They fit perfectly, look great, and seem well made. I am an even happier camper!

Decent latch for the money.
Easy to install and work good for RV storage doors. After a little more than a year they have started to pit and some latches have required lubrication. Trailer is never towed on salty roads and is well maintained, so I am a little disappointed that they have started to pit. Overall I am OK with them and would buy again.

Fits GeoPro travel trailers
Unfortunately after we left the RV dealer with our new camper we noticed that one of the locks on the rear compartment doors didn't work. This was a simple and inexpensive fix that fit perfectly and was easy to replace.

Great alternative to keyed cam lock on Architectural Mailbox - Oasis
This is what you need (5/8" with straight cam) if you want to replace the lock on your Oasis mailbox from Architectural Mailboxes. We do not need a locking mailbox and carrying a key all the time was a pain, so this became the (almost-perfect) solution.Note, the cams for this handle are longer than the mailbox cams. It will still work, but only if you remove the slotted piece on the inside of the mailbox. This slides onto the cylinder like a washer and is easily removed when you take out the lock itself.

Very convenient
Locks were easy to replace, work very well. Saves time as no more digging for the key to unlock.
