Why isn't this mouse more popular?
I've tried a number of these vertical mice.First I tried the inexpensive Anker (http://smile.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-Optical/dp/B00BIFNTMC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1452479341&sr=8-3&keywords=vertical+mouse), but in a few weeks, I my thumb went bad. I realized that I need a resting spot for my thumb. Took 2 weeks to recover.Concurrently, I was trying out Evoluent at work (http://smile.amazon.com/Evoluent-VerticalMouse-Regular-Right-VM4R/dp/B00427TAIK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452479421&sr=8-1&keywords=vertical+mouse&refinements=p_89%3AEvoluent). Maybe it would have worked out if it were smaller, but, I constantly need to reach out my index and middle fingers. Since the thumb rest had a glossy finish, my thumb kept sticking, so between the constant adjusting and the sticking, it got annoying pretty fast. This OysterMouse seems a bit rickety at times, but it withstands all the force I put on it. It fits in my hand nicely. I originally put it at the highest angle, but now have it down one click. I like that option. It easily wants to adjust the angle, but when not re-adjusting it, it feels good and works well. Sometimes it does have communication problems, but I think it could be Windows 10.About the vendor (Ergo Warehouse), I returned my first OysterMouse because the scroll wheel wasn't 100% smooth (I'm a gamer, so this really matters). It was very minor and potentially not noticeable, but they replaced it before I even returned it so that I can compare the two. Great customer service!
