Philips 69110/60/48 Imageo LED Rechargeable Table Lights with Charging Plate, White

This product fails miserably...cumbersome to recharge even for a short useage. Sheds very little light and is a poor example of engineering a led light source.

UPDATE: now that the base station's red light stays on, even after charging the light, and un- and re-plugging it, I'm dropping off a star. This is some faulty/cheap quality, in my opinion. You can also fully charge a light, not use it once for a couple of weeks, and then go to use it, and it's dead. Blah. The light emitted is quite pleasant, but one of the two lights was a complete dud and never worked, even with two full charges. The other of the two that did work in no way makes "six hours of operating time." I followed the directions for the 2x initial charge, and even then, it gets about 1/2 to 2/3 of that. (I just barely missed the somewhat short warranty/return window, as I didn't open and use them right when they arrived.) The motion used to turn on & off is nice and easy, convenient and fun. Weight-wise, they're light, but have a solid base and won't knock over easily. They don't get hot at all, naturally, and if the light is too bright for one's own taste, you could safely drape a bandana or semi-transparent cloth of some sort to dim the light to the level you desire. A slightly longer operating time would yield 4-stars from me.

Not particularly attractive but supply goodly amt of light and seem robust/not easily broken. Moreover, these can be used outside--a bonus. Readily recharged.

Inspired by the lovely golden hue of the Philips Imageo CandeLight set, I thought this would be great for camping as it's rated for outdoors and is plastic instead of glass. These arrived today packed about as well as I've ever seen an piece of electronics. The devices charge well, are nice and light, yet seem well constructed and not flimsy, as I was worried about. The bad news: They are just dumb LEDs without any of the magical flicker of the CandleLight set, which I highly recommend and are one of the most used sets of household equipment we have. Worse, their color tone is a dull, off white and nothing like a glow of that set. So, you may enjoy them depending on your needs but with the similar name and the wonderful experience of the other set, these are just 'OK'. Giving four stars since they're well designed and built and do exactly what they advertise they do. Finally, they are actually pretty bright, unlike the other review says. Yes, in an already lit room, they would be washed out, just like a candle. No worries on brightness here from my point of view.

This is a great night light for my bathroom. I only use it as needed. It is not on all night nor is it plugged in all the time. I also us it as lighting when relaxing for a bath. This product can be used just about anywhere in or outside of the house.

Right out of the box one of these lights failed to hold its charge more than five minutes. Have tried charging many times but no luck. Return is not an option. The OS freight to get the damn thing here was more than the cost of the lights. Bad luck for me I guess.

These don't keep the charge. They worked well for a few weeks, but then they stopped working correctly. The light is a nice soft ambient glow. Good for background, but not for reading.

OK, item looks good. Item works. Item not as bright as I thought it would be... more like a tea light than an actual candle in terms of output. And a small tea light at that. Item instructions pretty non-existent. Does charging vary for the lights - i.e. if one is drained, does this get charged faster than the other one when both are in the charging dock? How do I replace bulbs or batteries? The instructions were about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit..
