LED Movie Poster Frame Home Theater Wall Mounted Advertising Picture Frame Display Factory Production Snap Aluminum Frame Led Light Box Sign (A2, Black)

I have been wanting to get one of these frames for a while and thought about trying to build one myself. But this is better than I could have possibly made. The frame is an aluminum snap frame that works great, with a piece of plexiglass that goes over the poster. The frame itself is about 5/8" thick, which is amazingly thin. The light seems very even and plenty bright using an etched panel behind the poster illuminated by LED's along the sides. Shipping weight is just under 20 pounds, and some of that is packaging. It arrived with no damage, but the packaging is pretty thin too. I paid a few dollars extra for expedited delivery and got it in less than 2 weeks despite the estimate saying it would be more like 6 weeks.It isn't fancy. There is no switch or dimmer that I am aware of. The cord comes out of the back side of the frame (see picture) so it can't be 100% flush against the wall unless you do what I did and drill a hole in the wall and run the power cord through the wall. The "brick" for the 12V DC converter is long and thin and maybe could be attached to the frame (see picture). I measured 26 watts of power consumption. A little light escapes through the corner joints of the frame (see picture) fixed with a flap of black tape on the inside. The hanging rings were attached to the top of the brackets on the back which meant you would see the top of the ring above the frame, but they included an allen wrench and extra mounts, so I just moved the rings to spots on the vertical part (there are 4 holes for set screws in the brackets and one of them is used for the mounting ring, see picture). The packaging included the correct US cord and 4 anchors and screws for wall mounting, plus a suction cup to lift the plexiglass. The plexiglass gets wedged under the edge of the frame, so it took a little jiggling to get it moved over to where it could be lifted and I could put in a poster. Be very careful with the plexiglass. Although it ships with protective sheeting, once you remove that it is easy to scratch or get dirt and fingerprints which will catch light. Use microfiber cloth and a plastic cleaner like Novus 1. Wash and dry your hands and maybe use gloves when changing out a poster to avoid fingerprints.Update in February 2022: I have been enjoying the original frame for almost two years, so I decided to order another one. Unfortunately it arrived with some damage, so I sent it back for a replacement, which was also damaged. The cord on both of the newer ones had an inline switch (damaged on one) and included a cheap set of cloth gloves, which is helpful for avoiding fingerprints. The returns were easy, but hopefully they will beef up the packaging to avoid damage.

My husband had a few different light up movie poster frames on his Amazon wishlist and for Christmas I carefully reviewed each and then did my own research. I’m so happy that I found this product.First, This item Had detailed and great reviews. I liked that AND this was about $100 (or more) cheaper than all others, INCLUDING SHIPPING!Knowing I was purchasing from Overseas, I ordered early and paid a few dollars extra for expedited shipping and was pleasantly surprised how quickly it shipped and arrived, several days earlier than expected! Did I mention the shipping costs are outstanding for a heavy item From overseas!!!!I was very excited even though I knew my husband was going to be picky since I went my own way and he did not disappoint. He loved it, but complained about it being plexiglas. I reminded him they are all plexiglas and he complained that plexiglas scratches, blah blah blah. I said fine, I will return and he can go find one himself. I reached out to the company to set up a return. Their response was awesome. They made multiple offers of solutions to my issue. I told the husband to pack it up. Well, he decided to have a piece of glass cut to fit... he spent around $30 or $40 and cut his fingers up, but he is so happy, that I’m purchasing a second one for his birthday.Needless to say I’ve had multiple conversations with Kyle at the frame company and he helped me to get my second purchase expedited due to Chinese New Year about to start which, if you don’t know, essentially shuts down all shipping out of China for about a whole month.The communication and customer service during these two purchases and (almost) return have been nothing less than excellent.I highly recommend this frame. It’s very thin, has brilliant light, is simple to use (and, come on, the plexiglas is FINE! You just need to be careful not to use anything abrasive on it - you have to take care of your nice things!) and the packaging and shipping is awesome.If you, too, have a loved one who dumpster dives behind the local theaters and fills your home with double sided movie posters, one of these will make a fantastic gift. Or three. I’m going to let him have three. I think. But four is totally my Limit.Don’t buy anywhere else. You’re going to love these frames.

Frame looks great. Solid, easy to install poster and change (just make sure you use the white gloves they provide to avoid fingerprints as they are highlighted by the LED lights).

Posters easily snap in, this is awesome in our theatre room!

Ordered 2 of these to put in my cinema room. The first one came in chipped in the upper right corner of the the frame. Sent that one back and re ordered the second one. That one came damaged in the two bottom corners of the acrylic that cover the lights, you can see the lines in the photos provided in the bottom corners. Did not want to send back a third time so just kept it. Can’t really tell with the poster in but disappointed for sure. Besides that the lights are bright, the frame is sturdy but the gaps in the frame are not aligned correctly. As you can see in the pic light shines through them on some corners but not the other. Wished it was more flush.

Love this, I bought two, excellent quality but man is it bright! Like *lights up the whole room* kind of bright. I tried to provide less voltage to it, and tried to use a dimmer control on the power cord, but it apparently only has off and extra bright. Maybe next I’ll see if I can get a thin film of white plastic to put behind the poster and knock down the brightness. I will try a sheet of 5% tint film and see what I get. These things are not dimmable.Update: I purchased window tint film, 50%, 24"x10', and without peeling the backing off the tint I have laid a layer into the frame behind the poster and clear cover, and find that these are the perfect brightness now! I initially tried 5% film but it actually made the frames far too dark.
