Love it
I miss the sounds of true stereo that I got back when records were played , attached to recievers, equalizers, and speakers rocked highs and lows. I wanted the sound in my house to sound the way a pair of Bose ear buds do. You hear everything. However Bose systems have to much bass and no equalizer. After 3 days of research I had come to 2 I thought would be what I wanted. Fluance if 70 or Bang&Olufsen beolit 20. I listened to them on You Tube with my Bose ear buds and both had the crisp clear highs I like, along with rich bass that could be controlled. I finally choose the Bang&Olufsen Beloit. It is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I can pair a second speaker to it and it is moveable. The Fluance weighed 80lbs and I am older that would just be to large and heavy, although the sound is amazing in comparisons. I like the Bang so much I bought a second speaker so I could really have more surround sound in the room they are in. I have an Rv and these are portable. They are pricey, the Fluance might have cost less money because one speaker would cover the room and me buying 2 Bang is double price but they are really worth it. I researched high end speakers, there are most likely even higher quality but out of my price range. So if you are looking for a speaker and are a Bose fan this beats Bose. If you are searching like I was reading all reviews all I can say is you will not regret having this speaker. There is set sounds or you can use the built in sort equalizer so you can adjust and set your sound to fit the music you are listening too. Some genres need deep bass others need highs where hear all the instruments in the background. This is money well spent for me. Very easy to pair too, there is an app to control it and it will charge your phone too.

Typical B&O Quality. Excellent unit.
Bought two Beolit 20s to replace a vacuum tube based stereo system that was seeing less and less use in my living room. More of the music we listen to at this point is just streamed from our phones. If I feel the need to listen to non-compressed/HD audio files, that usually occurs in the small recording studio I've built with my studio monitoring setup. With that background out of the way, I'll leave my impression of the Beolit 20.Typical Bang & Olufson design, meaning minimalist/unique form with high quality materials and excellent construction. Description of sound quality is always subjective but overall, based on my experience with audio over the past 40 years or so, I'd rate the Beolit 20 to be excellent. As compared to other bluetooth speakers I've auditioned in the past year (Sonos, Bose, HK, Ultimate Ears and JBL) the Beolit is by far the most pleasing of the bunch. Decent low end extension with fairly detailed mid-range and very nice high end extension without sounding strident. I doubt most people will be using two of these as I am in a stereo paired setup, but for those who might be interested in that, it certainly is a sound that rivals some of the higher end component stereo setups I've had over the years. For those who might be concerned with the quality of bluetooth audio codecs, there is line input via 3.5mm TRS (stereo) on the unit. If one is interested in using this as a powered speaker there's always that option, although running a pair of these in stereo will require a custom made Y-cable specifically wired for each Beolit to truly run L/R audio. But I digress. Most who buy this will be using bluetoothAs for the bad, I could say say price but...you're looking at B&O, that's just the way it is. The app is fairly straightforward, stereo pairing can take an extra 30 seconds or so. Just be aware that there is a specific sequence to do it in (at least that's what my experience is). EQ on the app is useful but typically I just leave it at factory settings since so much music nowadays is just all over the map in terms of audio quality and EQ.In closing, if you want a speaker with flashing lights and all kinds of voice assistants and wifi network abilities, this isn't the speaker for you. On the other hand, if you want something elegant with excellent audiophile sound and a top notch build quality, buy the Beolit 20.

Best in class
What can I say: the Beolit 20 is the best sounding speaker in its class. It’s also more affordable than higher-priced models and would be a good entryway into the world of Bang & Olufsen. One downside is the lack of AirPlay connectivity, but overall that’s just a minor inconvenience. Make sure to update the software, though, as the device will now turn off on its own to conserve power if it hasn’t been used for a while.

Wonderfully Looking Portable Speaker Perfect for audiobooks or parties
On the downside the speaker is too boomy for music even after app optimization. Not my kind of soundstage for music listening. It is anything but neutral which gives you my bias. Everyone else seems to love it but this one is going back.

Works well
We purchased this speaker to listen to music while playing tennis. It doesn't last as long as we can, but does sound reasonably good. I did hope it would sound better. Not a true high-end audio product but how could it be. Looks cool, is built well, and works well. Don't charge your phone's battery while listening to it if you need the batteries to last longer.

B&O - Outstanding Sound considering the size!
This speaker system sounds fantastic. Pairs very easily with my iPhone, bluetooth turntable, and my laptop. Great bass and adjustable high frequency. All you old timers who can afford this are probably high frequency deficient or can’t manage the app. Keep trying and you’ll get it! By the way I’m 68…

The next big speaker in the game
Update-I need to take a star off for battery life. Let’s be real, if you play this at 75% volume, which isn’t that loud, the battery life is below three hours. That’s pathetic for this price. I love the sound as stated, but seriously, the battery life needs to be improved. Not to mention, if you charge your phone at the same time, it’s even lessBang and Olufsen has out done themselves again. The sound quality is absolutely insane, especially how deep the lows can get. I played it in a basketball gym the other day and not only was it room filling for its size but the bass reminded me of being at a concert. The frequency response is outstanding across the spectrum. Yes, the speaker is crazy expensive, but well worth it. It doesn’t distort at high volumes and holds a great battery life. It sounds like a full sound system at times.
