Works very well for how we use them - protective covers are available
We have two indoor cats that we let outside to roam the backyard everyday. Sometimes they jump the fence into our side-yard. I labelled their names on channels 1 and 2 on the control unit , and set the alert distance to 32 foot away. When the cat goes into the side-yard, the control unit alerts on their name and I'm able to track them down to where they're located in the wood pile or under our car (you can beep their pendant to pinpoint it). Gave it five stars because you don't need a contract like other units and it has different alert distances that can be set to let you know when they've strayed too far. This is our second set of these trackers, the first set lasted around five years but finally died after getting dunked in the water bowl when the cats got a drink. BUT...I found they make silicone protective covers for these! The covers have two slots that you can slide through a collar so they fit snug and don't hang down like a necklace. Trackers work great for us, happy.The pendant specs:1.5" at the widest part,2.5" long,3/8" thick.Including the battery, pendant weighs the same as five pennies (U.S money).With optional protective silicone covers, the pendants fit sideways on the collar instead of hanging like a necklace.

I was wrong. This is not tagged on the printed model but 2 extra tags are tucked in the box. Original comment below.This is not the ardi with 4 tags. Will send you the one with 2 tags only.

They work good but I would not trust them with your life
They work good.. I bought them so I would be able to take my children out to large events like festivals and concerts. The only problem I have with the product is that it runs off of RF frequency. And when you are in a large crowd at a concert or a festival there are a lot of RF frequencies in the air and it tends to get confused often and alert for no reason even when everybody wearing The Trackers are still near you. It's a good product and can definitely help if you lose somebody. But I wouldn't call it 100% foolproof

I really liked this product, I have an child with Autism and he tens to wander off it really works!! the only reason i didn't give it five starts were the batteries that they sent didn't last as long as i thought
