This product worked exactly like I needed it to. I had to replace the light on my pop-up camper trailer. Unfortunately, the holes in the sheet metal that the screws attach to the trailer are old and getting worn out. I had two options, use bigger screws (which I do not want to go down that path) or find another solution. A friend of mine suggested that I try this putty. It worked for me threefold. It helped adhere the light to the trailer, it also gave the screws a little more bite into the metal and helped make it watertight.The instructions were helpful and easy to use. They explain how much you should use (2 square inches for each pound). I liked that it had pre-cut strips which made measuring and cutting much easier. I cut strips and put them all around the inside of the edge of the light. It helped affix the light to the trailer and provided an extra layer of sealant to go with the clear sealant that I put on it.I have taken the trailer out twice, including through the rain with no problem. The light stayed put right where I put it and no water leaked in. I look forward to hanging more things with this, and I would recommend this to a friend.

Works as described - a sticky putty excellent for keeping things in place. Even outdoors.

Not as sticky as we'd like but for the price, it's fine. Using it to hold down a rug whose corner likes to roll up, keep knick knacks on shelves, and even keep things stable hanging on the wall. No residue anywhere we've used it.

Pros: clear instructions, easy to work with.Cons: won't hold up anything. Not even a poster.Other thoughts: might be ok as a putty for children to play with, or as a last resort for filling small holes in a wall. Absolutely will not hold anything to a wall.I followed the instructions and worked a bit of the putty for a minute or so to warm it up (just like when I was in grade school) I stuck it to the poster in all 4 corners and pressed firmly against the wall. The putty adhered to the wall and poster, but not to itself..??Poster fell off the wall literally a minute later. With putty still on the wall and poster.Just skip this one.

This putty is the best brand I’ve tried. I use it to hang lightweight items on walls in my real estate business. It never leaves a mark and never damages the wall. I also use it to hold already hung pictures in place.

I tried to use this to hang up some very light ribbon along the top of my dorm wall so that my walls would look a little less blank but the sticky tack did not want to stay. Worked alright with paper, I'm sure I'll find a use for it elsewhere, just kinda sucks I couldn't use it for what I bought it for.

I purchased this to hold items for stop motion videos. It works great. It's actually too good for what I need, but it does the job.
