Vanilla Almond Black Tea Tin, 50 Tea Bags, Naturally Caffeinated

This tea is simply wonderful. Taste, aroma, and health benefits are top-notch. When this tea is sweetened, it's almost like an amaretto liqueur, with no bitterness or leafy taste whatsoever. This makes it a good "gateway" for helping people appreciate tea. My mom doesn't like typical tea for its bitter, leafy taste. And, the sheer tannin content of most teas can make me feel sick. This tea here has no problems and no weaknesses. I'm down near the end of my first tin and it's still as fresh as the first bag was. This tea is very blend-friendly as well. I will share my tea recipe. I usually have it with or after a meal, but even on its own, it'll keep you going. This recipe uses two tea bags per cup, so this is for adults! Per cup: 1 bag Republic of Tea vanilla almond black tea 1 bag organic oolong tea 1 tsp raw honey (bee pollen also works well) 1 pat of butter sugar to taste I steep the tea continuously in the cup until it's all drank. (Pull any strings or tags off the oolong tea you use.) I usually have the tea with an egg croissant. That recipe ALWAYS improves my mood and health. The liquid tea, honey, and butter together provide good lasting energy. I have been continuously trying to improve this recipe even further, and I'm not sure I can. I wholeheartedly recommend this tea!

This one's different from many of the Republic of Tea line in that it's a VERY powerful, almost overwhelming almond flavor. That's GREAT for people who love Almond... maybe a bit intense for those just sniffing in that direction! But as it happens, we do have in this household a great fan of Almond, so she was very pleased when I ordered this one . It is definitely a GREAT STRONG FLAVOR to add to our collection of hundreds of teas! And it's R.o.T... We LOVE the Republic of Tea line, so no surprise that this one would also satisfy. Might seem a bit odd for a household to have hundreds of kinds of teas... but we do. No, we're not a restaurant; just a small family who all LOVE TEA and although many people aren't tea drinkers, we do like offering guests tea when they visit. Usually for cautious sometime-tea drinkers, it goes something like this: - "Would you like some tea?" - "I guess so... What flavor do you have?" - "Well, probably just about anything you can think of. What did you have in mind, or what have you liked having before?" And we can almost ALWAYS satisfy any curiosity or craving, from any kind of tea they've heard of or would like to try... black to green to white; herbal, or blends like ginger, Indian chai or even Korean ginseng. And now, we'll add VANILLA ALMOND to the mix. It can be good straight up as it is, or even as a MIXER tea, added to a stout BLACK tea for a further burst of vanilla (and most prevalent: ALMOND) flavor and aroma. For a guest host like us, REPUBLIC OF TEA teas have those wonderful feeling cans, filled with lovely little round pillows of flavorful delight and aromatic deliciousness. Yes, I know: sounds like we're Republic of Tea representatives or something... But no. Just HUGE FANs of their entire line of TEAS, as well as their PACKAGING!! If you like ALMOND (or are willing to adventure in to TRY it) then this tea is a great one to add to YOUR collection, too!

I usually drink loose tea, but the flavor sounded tasty, so I bought this. Tea tastes best when it's loose tea. Usually tea bags (these included) are tea dust. It's okay - the flavor is very mild. If you're making a big cup of tea, it's probably best to put 2 bags in the cup.

This is hands-down the best tea (for hot tea) I’ve ever had. I add some honey and a splash of milk or cream.

This is one of the best teas I have tried in a while. I really love the almond aroma and taste that comes through. I have been searching for a good tea to sip on that just gives that comforting vibe.. now I have found it!
