Melitta European Roast Coffee, Extra Dark Roast, Extra Fine Grind, 10.5 Ounce Can (Pack of 4) 42 Ounces Total

I have been using this brand for a long time. Sometimes hard to find. Occasionally I have gotten cans that have lost their seal (not due to removal or compromise) but due to how it is sealed with the foil on top...seals hold much better since metal cans are being used.

My family has been drinking this for at least 10 years. For the smoothness, quality, and aroma! Our local supermarket is either out of it or not carrying it anymore. I found a new source. The price is comparable to the groceries price whe it's not on sale.

I've used several different brands of coffee over the years, and this is my new favorite. Before this I typically bought Eight O'clock coffee from the grocery store. I bought a can of Melitta European Roast one time when it was on sale, and now this is the brand I keep stocked in our kitchen. My husband and I, and many of our friends and family love the taste of this coffee. It tastes a lot like coffee I've had in Europe - the Melitta is 100% Arabica beans, which is what most European coffees use. Best of all, the price is very reasonable!

This coffee is good, but it's extremely finely ground. This is usually fine, but if you're going to use a french press, expect a lot to pass through the grate. It works well in a paper cone though, and it tastes good. Though I'm not a huge fan of coffee that comes in tins just because of the amount of packaging needed, and I'm not sure it says any fresher than in a bag.

Loved it! Used my keurig with the filter provided and simply followed the instructions. The flavor is deliciously dark and finishes off smoothly. Just what I've been looking for****oh mystery of life at last I've found youuuuu. I love pouring international delight almond joy flavor, I strictly keep it to 2 cups a day in the morning.

Remarkable coffee for the price. Perfect grind for drip-style coffee machines. The taste is smooth and not bitter (unless you don't use up the can quickly once open). A little cream and sugar added, and you'll think your sitting at a cafe in downtown Munich (or close enough). Most of you probably don't know German..if you ever find yourself back in the fatherland and need a cup of joe, just say this: "Von cupf upf coffee pleazzen!!" Works most of the time.

New favorite for husband and self. We love dark roast coffees. My husband brews a batch in the morning and doesn't skimp on the grounds. My husband drinks his black and I drink mine with milk. I have been buying French roast coffee in 10-12 ounce bags at the local gourmet grocery. Melitta European roast is far better and cheaper. A scant cup with milk really kicks me awake.
