1. The tube comes half full. You're not special, it's just how they packaged it. If you spread it on the affected area, it softens and spreads easily.2. The name means "The total extinction of the human species as a result of human action. The packaging sucks, the name is hilariously mis-informed and the tubes are half full.but.... it freaking works!!!!It soothes open or moist sores, helps speed recovery (surprisingly fast) and it does just as advertised....its not a bad product, just bad marketing and package design.The person I purchased this for suffers from debilitating male yeast infections, and so far it's been the only thing (Rx included) that has offered him any relief from the rawness and pain associated with that condition. (Leads me to believe the yeast strain he had was resistant to other medicines).We recommend it, and will be buying again.

Jut received my order for "Omnicide Gel" by SteriWeb Medical.First off, sadly, the tube itself had no tamper seal which is not suspicious, but does not give me piece of mind for a medical based product.Second, the package clearly states the product is a "gel" but since the base is petroleum it would be better described as an ointment. At least I read in the Amazon description before purchasing and saw that there were more concise descriptions as an ointment. It would behoove the company to change its packaging description for sure.Time will tell if this product is beneficial and I will update this review accordingly.

The gel is packaged in a very durable tube w/ a tiny opening in the cap for the gel to be dispensed.I remove the cap, as the pressure needed to dispense the gel , can cause TOO much product to be squeezed out of the tiny dispensing opening.This works wonders in the dispensing of the medication...the product has no discernible odor , is smooth in the application to the skin, but I find , while the gel is non-irritating, it does not seem to be effective.I will use this as needed, but would not reorder again.

I do like the product! BUT....I don't like the packaging. I am 75 years old. It takes all of my energy to squeeze the product out of that tube.I wish it could be packaged differently--like in a small plastic jar. I hope the manufacturer reads this comment and works on a change. My arm and hand really hurt after getting this tube squeezed enough to get out the product!!

don't know what this stuff it but it works like a charm. A lifetime ago, in Sunny Southeast Asia, I picked up some kind of fungus which a clever Army doc diagnosed as folliculitis. It causes an itch precisely where a man does not want one. At that time there was an antifungal cream that ended it forthwith. Fast forward five decades. The itch returned. Could it be the same thing? Doc couldn't see anything (duh) and said to use jock itch remedies. That made it worse. Did my own research and came up with Omnicide. One application did the job. Amazing.

Got this when we suspected a Brown Recluse bite, but were not sure...Dr didn't know either.... it was soothing and non irritating, may have hastened healing, but it took a long time...months. But no infection, and that was the point.

This burned so badly that I went running to the sink to wash it off squealing the entire way. The wound on my finger was actually sore to the touch and took another week or so to scab over. It is still not gone and I am really bummed. I am a dental assistant with terribly dry hands from overwashing my hands between patients, cleaning and sterilization. I suffer from eczema so I am looking for a product to keep me from catching secondary infections as they are easy to get since my skin is often broken due to cracking. Unfortunately, my workplace is full of mouth germs (staph, strep, hiv, hep a, b, c, rhinovirus, etc) but I will have to return it. I need protection against more than just yeast and the positive reviews claim cures yeast. All other sales reviews were using this product in addition to oral antibiotics which isn't telling. Nevertheless, I'd like my money back. My hand took longer to heal after using this product and it hurt so bad I'd never use it again.
