Closest to a perfect defensive/utility ~1000 lumen flashlight I've found.
Love these lights. Always come on max which is a requirement for a defensive flashlight, doesn't have any silly memory modes or lock to get stuck on in your pocket/bag, rechargeable if you need it (though the cover is pretty flimsy so I don't use it, just a regular AC charger), and has adjustable modes in case you don't need full brightness. If they fixed the charging port cover to make it more durable it would be the ideal EDC defensive/utility flashlight IMO.

Does the job
Decent light in a small package. Bright for sure but doesn't throw near 300 yards, at least not in a tight enough pattern to see anything at that distance. Has a very wide spill but that's great if you're lighting up a back yard or a room. That's when this little light performs. A great entry light. If you want a far distance search light you will need something a little beefier as the spill is too wide as mentioned. The light itself has a solid feel and the switch has a nice solid click that lets you know its on or off. The lanyard hole is actually a 2 piece plastic snap ring that doesn't feel as solid as the rest of the light. The spring clip is decent and is easily removed but not flimsy. The light always turns on in Turbo mode and gets hot pretty quick but that's to be expected with the amount of light it produces. I think maybe it should be a little longer and give it a deeper reflector giving it a little more throw but Overall I am happy with it and will use it as my EDC because its light weight and won't sag my pocket or weigh heavy on my hip.
