There are 2 tests that can tell if your mask is effective. One is to try to blow a a candle through the mask while wearing it. If the candle goes out, the mask is uselesss. The other is to let few drops of water sit on the outside of the mask when it is off., If the water beads up, the mask is safe. If the water is absorbed, the mask is not effective. The Sonovia passes the candle test, but failed the water test---a drop-off water was absorbed and penetrated the fabric.

The mask fits well and allows for adjustment for fit. With other masks I had to double loop the behind the ear strap. So I appreciate the fit options. I love the concept that the zinc oxide layer adds protection, but I wish I KNEW this mask was superior. What I’d love to see for the price we pay to get this mask is, what studies show that at $70 this mask is superior? If further study information can be given, hands down this mask with the way it fits and looks, coupled with proof of it being superior, would make it my first choice every time!

Since the Sonomask was first announced I was really excited about the technology behind the mask. As a RN who has worked through the worst of the NY pandemic in a hospital while pregnant, I had my eye out for a mask that offered me the highest level of protection at a reasonable cost when I couldn't wear my hospital issued N95. This is it! The moment I saw it advertised and saw the Sonomask research results I was impressed. I have reached out to customer service multiple times from my first mask through my 6th (as we expand our collection for the sake of the family) and I have not been disappointed even once. Nor have I caught covid. Thank you Sonovia for helping keep me, my family, and my new baby by extension safe. I highly recommend these masks to everyone!

I had asked for N-95 masks for sale. This happened to be on the list. However, when it arrived, there is nothing that says it is a N-95 mask. Instead, it is a very skimpy, flimsy mask that is so skimpy, it does not stay up. And for one two-layer cloth mask to cost $69.00 is ridiculous.

Too large for my face. It doesn’t fit securely. Gaps on side open to air. What an insecure disappointment! Very costly to protect my life!

I have read many reviews from women who said they had to get the men's size. And I understand why. I got both women's and men's my wife is quite petite and she was able to live with the women's. The men's is just not big enough and not tight enough around the nose. When you speak and your chin moves it falls off your nose. The technology is apparently terrific, the mask making is not so good

So far so good. I love this mask. It's super comfortable, I can breathe out of it, it washes well (handwash) and I feel safer wearing it. I don't know if that's a false sense of security, but honestly, it has had tests done on it to prove its effectiveness against Covid. As a larger woman I wasn't sure if the mask would fit or I should get a man's, but this is perfect for me. It even has where you can tighten the strings on your ears, which I found really helps to keep fog minimum down on my glasses if I wear it a little tighter. It's WORTH it to buy this, IMHO. I don't even use any of my other masks now. Yes, you may suffer on style, but hey, I'd rather be better protected haha. I put this on for maybe ten minutes to adjust fit. Airways in my nose started stinging and face was irritated. I washed it earlier in the day and will give it another try when it is dry. Will update this rating after I wear it again. Almost like a chemical or something was on it. (update) Hand washed mask and let air dry. Wore to the store and will say its VERY comfortable, once I got the ear straps adjusted has a great seal. No irritation in nose and face now. I would suggest washing this mask before wearing. Changed the rating to 4 stars. Took off one star because of the price.

Very thin, and keeps moving around the face, way overpriced, not work 15pound. Feel ripped off

At last, a mask that doesn't cause my glasses to steam up. And, it provides a high level of protection while being lightweight.

Franchement merci pour cette invention ! Fini les allergies aux colles dans les masques jetables, fini de faire 1 lessive à 60 pour les masques tissus ! Ce masque est parfait . Et ceux qui critiqueront le prix je leur dirai de bien faire leurs calculs , 55 lavages hebdomadaires + la 1ère semaine avant de le laver ça fait 1 an et 4 semaines ! Et en plus il est confortable. Avant en rentrant en voiture je me pressais d’enlever mon masque jetable ou tissus pour respirer, maintenant je démarre sans penser à l’ôter. Que du plus. :- ))Le modèle femme et homme sont parfaitement ajustables.

Comfortable. Ease of breathing. Stretchy.
