Matin Digital SLR Compact Camera Body + Battery Grip Case Black V2 - (XL)

I use this to protect the rear screen of both my Canon cameras, even though I carry them in a camera bag. They offer that additional protection incase my bag gets knocked over when I am in the field. Yes, I have a protective glass on the screens as well, but I do outdoor work and accidents happen. Sure the protective glass protects the screen but if it gets cracked it is still a mess to deal with until you get back to the studio and replace it. $25 to protect a piece of gear worth 1-2k$ is a good investment.

It's perfect. I use it for my 70D and it still has room. So if you have a battery grip, it'll be enough of room. The pouch feels good. I like the fabric. The Velcro is good. I haven't had any problems with it not sticking. I put my camera with my 85mm lens in it and fit fine.

I prefer a modular approach to my camera bag, having separate cases for each piece of gear so I can grab what I want for a particular shoot and put it in any kind of bag, rather than having a dedicated bag for all my gear and lugging around unnecessary items. So, this is exactly what I was looking for.The XL works great for my Nikon D5600 with Battery Grip. I'm going to by a large for my other Nikon as well.

The purpose for buying this case was to protect my Canon 5D body in a backpack while traveling thru Spain with limited space. Since my LowePro didn’t fit the trip so I improvised and It worked like a charm. The envelope style case was a snug fit for the camera body but easy to remove when I was ready to shoot video/pictures. It protected my camera well during the trip serving the purpose intended with no defects in craftsmanship.

This case works well for roof prism binoculars with 42mm objective lenses. It might even fit those with 50mm lenses. QC could be better.

Got this to protect my camera body on a recent overseas trip where I couldn't take my entire camera bag. It did a great job for my Canon 7D m2. It was roomy enough to house the body with the clutch strap still attached but snug enough to provide good protection inside my backpack. Definitely was the right buy for this application.

I purchased this before a trip to Peru for my Canon 5D and it worked great! I could store it in my backpack easily when traveling on a plane, etc...

A bit pricey for what you get, but does what it is intended. Also (being an XL) a bit too snug for professional cameras. 5d Mark IV's with battery grips. Because it is a tight fit, could use a loop or tab of some sort to hold on to at he bottom of the case to make easier to remove the camera.
