Buyer beware. Had 1 bag the best stuff I’ve ever bought. Next bag absolute junk. All wood chips and twigs looked burnt and black. I don’t understand why you wood risk selling junk like this under a premium name. I can buy junk potting soil for $5.00 a bag at the big boxes. Extremely disappointed

I would not recommend this. Much more like planting mix than potting soil. It's very dry and doesn't take the water well. Every handful needs to be thoroughly wetted or you'll have dry spots throughout. I can't believe anything beneficial could stay alive. Then if you water it inside the bag, it all goes down the sides to the bottom so it rots at the bottom of the bag. Very rough texture — lots of visible wood bits, so not good for seedlings or small pots at all.
