How do I access the 'steady' mode on these lights. At the moment they are 'flashing'

The switch has three settings. On, Flashing and Steady. The flashing state is the middle point on the switch, the far opposite to off is the Steady state. It's quite stiff though so it wasn't obvious and was easily missed

Can anyone verify on here if you have used these lights outside please? I want to wrap them around a balcony so need to be weather proof. Thanks.

Probably way too late to answer this question for you but. No they are not designed for outdoor use. Although Battery operated the battery pack does not have any seals on it to make it water tight. Although unlikely it is possible that water and certainly condensation would get into the battery pack and the circuit board. The instructions also say that they are indoor use only. I will say though i have a different set of lights with the same battery pack and that's been outside working happily for over a month in horrendous rain and snow without a problem.

How do you open to put in batteries I can’t open?

I found this virtually impossible, ended up breaking the case accidentally. Managed to keep subsequent batteries in place using tape but they didn't last long and the stars didn't shine very well either. Ended up throwing it away.

Great for up the stairs, where there are no plugs

Great for places with no plugs nearby. Indoor use only though. Warm lights when powered by the battery pack, not sure the battery life yet, but three AAs shoudl last a fair while. The lights looks good. Very easy to use - choice of always on , flashing or off. The switch is a little delicate though to be warned.For the price very happy.

Nice soft glow

Nice and long so give good amount of lights . Has setting for flashing or not so cater to different peoples preferences. Hoping the quality is going to be good and they don’t break , time will tell . Fairly steady to hang but houses with kids and pups would need to take care to hang out of dogs and kids reach . I really like them

TERRIBLE!

They turned on for about 10 seconds, when I was checking to see if they worked, but when I was about to put them up, they wouldn't turn on, so I checked the batteries were in right, and whilst doing that, the fuse blew immediately, and really hurt my thumb. So i left them on the floor whilst I got someone else to confirm they were broken, and then I accidentally stepped on it, and it pierced a whole into my foot (through socks) and I've been limping for days. TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Schneeflocke Lichterketten

Ich habe 3 Stück davon für den Christbaum bestellt. Sie sehen so gut aus und man kann sie nur mögen. Praktisch sind sie auch, weil man sie eingeschaltet lassen kann und sich keine Gedanken betreffend Strom machen muss- Batterien halten ca. 5 bis 7 Tage. Die Kette tut was sie soll und gibt schönes warmes Licht, die den Christbaum schön erstrahlen lassen. Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist großartig. Von mir 5 von 5 Sternen.
