Although Brother insisted this attachment would not work on my model I tried it and I can now sew perfectly straight seams. I am a beginner.

Very good. Surprisingly this was a difficult attachment to find. Works great.

I bought this foot, not the magnetic one, from China, advertised on Facebook. The company selling the one from China, was not able to sufficently answer my question about the magnetic foot on my computerized machine, and if using it would void the warranty. Not taking any chances, with my expensive machine, I went with the authentic Brother foot, and I am very pleased. Although this foot requires an extra step, to unscrew it, but it's not really a hassle, when you consider the cost of replacing the machine.Easy to put on, and take off, makes sewing straight seam a breeze, for anyone.

It fits on my Brother HC 1850, and appears to do what it is supposed to do. I don't think the measurements line up correctly, but I adjusted it where I wanted it and didn't have any issue. I'm not sure what all comes with the Brother branded guide, but this one did not come with any literature. If you need direction, you will have to look elsewhere. I'm happy with the little gadget, and I'm happy it was cheaper than the branded item.

This works very well to sew different sizes of seams. It fits brother se350 perfectly, and now I am sewing almost perfect 1/4" and 5/8" seams.Yeah! I like it because the guiding edge is high, so it is very easy to keep the fabric lined up. I am a sewing novice, and this works really well, and is easy to install. Just be sure that it is screwed in with the top edge set horizontally, and not at an angle. Highly recommended.

I almost sent this back because the screw did for the track it's supposed to slide in to change the distance. But before I pressed the return item button, I decided to force it. Really had to force it into the track. That worked but honestly it shouldn't have been that hard. It fits my Babylock Ellisimo.

Wish I had ordered this sooner, it really helps to sew a straight stitch. It was easy to attach to my Brother SC9500 sewing machine, however it does cover the bobbin cover. The Honeysew seam guide can be loosened and moved to easy access the bobbin. I am very pleased with the Honeysew seam guide.

I was worried about this fitting my Brothers SQ9185 sewing machine after reading all the comments. But I got it today, and it fits great!
